I work on a tele floor and have never had to use an otoscope. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but unless you specialize or work at a doctor's office you will never use one.

I think this is said to every nursing student starting out. My professor said it to my class. In reality, nursing school has not been that bad thus far.

First semester I worked about 36 hrs a week, second semester about 27 hrs a week, and now I am starting my third semester and I plan on working 16 hrs a week. So far I have done very well in my classes, but I hear the third semester is a beast.
