I agree. So, are you taking ur prerequisites again? I'll take one class this summer at pierce college and then a couple in the fall. It will take me a long time to finish those prereqs. When do you plan on going to the phils? We have to start saving.

No, don't be discouraged. It's never too late. I am thinking of the same thing. I am 36 and I will start taking my prerequisites this fall. I work full time but I will still try even if I take 1 subject at a time.

Thank you so much! I really pray that I can do this. How can I get As when I am working full time? Oh dear, negativity has no place in nursing school. I plan on taking sociology and math or english. I'll start with easy ones since it's been 15 years since college.

Hi. I just started reading this thread yesterday and I have been seeing you're post since 2002-2004 I think. I was on page 54 and have decided to look at the last posting and I saw ur latest post. I am glad that you are still responding to all these posts after all these years. I am not a nurse YET, but I will be one day. I won't be staring my prerequisites until fall of this year and I hope to one day share my story too to all of you. I am so jealous. I can't wait to be a nurse. It's going to be a long time but I will get there.

you have an lvn license already? Have you started working as an lvn? How was it like? I wanted so much to work in a hospital. Maybe I should volunteer. How long did it take for you to finish the lvn course?

Hi! Yes, I speak tagalog. I was originally from there. I just got my citizenship last year. I don't think you'll stay there for four years like what I said earlier, my friend is about to finish her bsn in october. She started in may of 2009. Are you here in california? I see that you have done or is almost done with your prerequisites. I think it will get accredited there. Do you know which school you wanna go to? I am just now starting with the prerequisites... In the fall. So I still have a long easy to go. How are the classes?

since I'll be a second courser, I am actually thinking of pursuing this degree in the philippines. It's a lot faster plus you finish work a bsn. The only thing that is holding me back is that I am not sure if I would have to take the local board exam there which I don't really want to do.
