Hi txhopeful12,I Checked Uta nursing website and it shows the list of books for spring 2013 "on campus only"I am wondering when they will post the books for the online AP or if we will buy the same books:)

I received an email confirmind that i already turned in my acceptance form :)

It is an online program and if you go to the UTA nursing website there is a link about the AP program :)

I have applied for tcc as a back up plan, but I just got accepted at UTA!!

Hi all My gpa is 3.75; I took my hesi today and scored only 84 Also, the average of my class was 84.

I am waiting for Uta first. Uta will let me know end of October only:(after that I will make my decision because I also applied for WGU as a back up plan and WGU it is much cheaper than WCU. TCC is also an option ( but unfortunately is only ADN program , not a bachelor's).

On the website says October 1st :). Do you guys have a backup plan? What other schools are you considering if you are not accepted at UTA?

I think we will get used to taking the Hesi; think of the positive side: it will prepare us for the nclex exam anyways :)

Thank you for let us know. When did you found out this? Because I spoke with one of the admissions advisor that i have chem 1406 from TCC and she said that I had to take biochem anyways

I also have read the bad comments about WCU from California. However, the reason why I am considering this school is the fact that there is no waiting list and I can have my bachelors in 2 years. The school is nationally approved and is Texas Board of nurse approved. I read the Texas Bon report for approval of the program and The report for passing rate for nclex Bsn program is high. (not ADN program on Ca). I sent my transcripts this Monday and they will let me know about the classes transferred next week.

Yes, I went to a tour at the campus and I was amazed with them. State of art classrooms and simulator center, the advisors are very friendly and answered all my question. I am waiting on UTA response for spring2013 and WCU is my back up plan. I already submitted transcripts and they already sent me a letter of acceptance. I will wait until end of October to hear from UTA, them I will make my decision :)I already finished all the pre requirements at the community college and the nursing part dwill take me two years to finish :)

Hi Ssession79,Have you start the WCU classes?if so, are you taking the pre requirements at WCU or community college? How your schedule look, if you don't mind to share, how many classes are you taking and how many days are you going to school? Thank you :)

Hi,I will take stat online at el centro during the fall. I decided to not take at Uta because of the price and also after talking to some friends whom stated how hard stats at Uta was.

I am also partnered with Baylor, but I did not apply for fall. I only applied for Spring2013. Did you try to contact your advisor regarding the waiting list for Baylor yet? Also, do you mind to share your stats ? Thank you
