  1. My application was submitted June 2 and I heard back via email June 27
  2. Congrats!! I got my acceptance email this morning too? for MSN to DNP PMHNP!
  3. Hey, I applied to Samford as well. One of the assistants, Crystal, said they board will start reviewing May 1. Thats crazy because other schools have deadlines of May 1 to get back to them with decisions.
  4. Hey, Ive been trying to talk to ms. Jones for the longest. So she did confirm that they are having another round of interviews for DNP applicants?
  5. I applied to FNP to DNP as well. I didnt receive an interview email and my status is still comittee ready. Admissions did say that they may have another set of interviews end of april if space is available. But my gpa wasnt too great and my app was completed after deadline, so im not too bothered that I haven't heard nething...
  6. Psychedrn, According to the email earlier about the interview schedule, The FNP batch interviewed today and again tomorow.... im hoping ill be selected for an interview if there is still.space available come end of april.... I wont loose hope until I see my "decision" status change.
  7. How are the interviews coming along??? I havent received an email yet, but im trying not to loose hope. I called and spoke to an admissions rep and she said just because I havent received an interview date by now doesn't necessarily mean I'll be rejected. soo, lets see.. good luck those interviewing these next couple weeks
  8. Starts with N...but then again my requirements weren't complete until few days after deadline...
  9. Anxiously waiting and hoping praying to still get an interview. ..FNP Track...good luck to those also in the waiting game and congrats to those so farr!!!!
  10. I have a section that says "transcript review" that was added and dated with the other requirements. Do you guys have that too?
  11. Congratsss tjones, wat specialty u apply for??
  12. Dont give up, there's still time for them to send you a date and they said end of april is also open for interviews depending on space... its the wait that makes me go crazy...refreshing the screen every few minutes knowing that it will still say "committee ready"
  13. Hey, everyone I applied to the BSN DNP program as well, family nurse practitioner track. I am committee ready and anxiously waiting for interview hopefully good luck everybody!! :)
  14. Thanks guys. I ended up accepting the Hopkins offer. I decided not to go to Sinai interview b/c of the far distance from my area. But I explained to the recruiter and she understood expressed her best wishes.
  15. Yes, I have my BSN.
  16. m a new grad with CNA experience and I passed boards few weeks ago. So I'm on the job hunt trail. Long story short; after interviewing at hopkins couple days ago, I was offered a CNA/RN position. Due to hopkins hiring freeze, not too many New grad spots now. So I was offered the CNA/RN position to work as a CNA for 90 days on a unit and it is a guarantee that I will transition to a RN by January. I am so excited about this opportunity and I am more than willing to work as a CNA and gain that experience and move up the ladder. I have a interview at Sinai for a new grad. RN position. I hear that Sinai is also a great hospital. I was wondering if I should go ahead with the interview and see what happens. Even though it is directly for a RN spot, I think Hopkins has more to offer and I am leaning more towards them. I do not want to wait too long for me to respond to Hopkins with my decision. Advice nebody??? Thanks

  18. I took Nclex today and i reviewed with Hurst online. The lectures are great and it's always a good thing to know content along with strategies. Finished at 75 and got the good "pop up" !!!!:):)
  19. Nicee... How was it?? :)
  20. stands for "select all that apply"
  21. Thank uu.. I hope it will not be as bad. Did u do Hurst review too? I did it and I hope it will not be in vein.
  22. So my exam is in two days. I am soo nervous but I do want to get it over with. I've been doing practice questions for the last few days and I have some questions. 1. Does Nclex question let you know how may decimal points your answer should be or if there should be a zero behind the decimal point. (i.e. 0.5 instead of .5). I got few calculation question incorrect during practice because of these mistakes. So i was just curious :heartbeat 2. There are different lab values in different sources. I am not sure which one to follow. I am taking Hurst online and the lab values indicated by the package are different than what i have in Saunders and my med surg book..etc.. Not sure which one to memorize Thanks.
  23. :clpty: Congrats!!! are u allowed to tell us the medication and not the question?? i take mine in 2 days and I'm sooo nervousss!!!
  24. Hey guys, has nebody received any information about the time orientation starts on July 18???
