  1. I completely agree with "Wanttobeanursesoon." You took the words right out of my head. Good luck at the interview!
  2. I agree with what others have said. As you get comfortable with the tasks in your job, the nursing interventions will become second nature. It is difficult to see this when you are a new nurse because we tend be overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done. As you gain experience, you will complete your tasks more quickly and be able to have a few extra minutes to do the things you mentioned. I would encourage you to engage your residents in conversation when you are performing your tasks. Take every opportunity you can to show you care.
  3. I think that many people use the forums here to vent to other nurses about issues that only "we" would understand. I believe that the majority of the members here truly love nursing. Your heart has to be in it, or you'll never make it. Good luck in nursing school and congratulations for following your dream!
  4. My transfer was delayed because my husband had to reenlist in order to transfer them. As soon as this was complete, it was approved in about 4 weeks.
  5. Interesting... I have never seen that!
  6. I have benefits transferred freom my spouse as well. Are you saying it covers the cost of your books? I did not know this. thanks
  7. I would look at the hospital websites in your area. I have looked at several and they advertise them there. Good Luck!
  8. Congrats! You can do it!
