  1. I called Judy today and I found out that I am in the middle of the wait list. She said that there is a very good chance that people in the middle of the list can still get into the program. I will give her a call back in 3 weeks to see what happens.
  2. I'm in! I'll be coming all the way from California.
  3. I'm on waitlist too. Thismorning, I just got confirmation that my waitlist acceptance was received. It'snice to know that there are people who are also waiting for a seat. Congrats to everyone who got accepted! :) The wait is soooo long though.
  4. I was just looking over the posts on this forum.
  5. That's wonderful to hear that you got accepted into the University. This is a very stressful time this week.
  6. My status has been 'committee ready' for a very long time. It's close to the end of March 2012. It is nail biting.
  7. Hello Grey Lady, I have been wondering about how all sections of TEAS scores are weighed out as well. dccubano brought up good points. If reading comprehension is the most important, then is there a minimum reading comprehension score? dccubano, I'm also an older student too. I currently have my bachelors right now. I retook undergraduate courses that I did not do very well in. After retaking courses, I enrolled in a CNA course. There were a lot of high school students in the theory part of course. I was the oldest student in the entire group. I will finish at the end of March. Army nurse does sound great. I wish you the best on that.
  8. No I haven't. But if you plan anything, then post it up. :)
  9. From the stats, I can tell I applied for some very competitive programs. A freak out party would sound good about now. I have the anticipation to look at my status and my results at the same time.
  10. hello mary058, i couldn't help but notice your quote. that is true. i also took teas v. the study guide for the science section seemed to help me answer half of the questions correctly on the test. i found that both knowledge from previous science courses were helpful along with the online practice exams. i've really heard a range of different comments about how study guide was helpful. i found it helpful for most sections except the science section.
  11. Good luck guys with SSC.
  12. It was a tough exam. I remember that I had to be precise in answering all questions correctly. I took the TEAS V Exam.
  13. Besides Washington DC, does anyone know if most of clinical are done in Baltimore, MD?
  14. I would agree with the impressive stats! Right now I'm also waiting on my response from UCF as well. I need to take a one unit nutrition course to meet requirements for the program. Pretty nervous about the wait for this school as well.
  15. Leenak, good luck. You can do it.
  16. Hello everyone, I was looking at the postings in this forum on and off. People seem to enjoy attending school in Baltimore. I'm glad I made a right choice. :) Still waiting on responses from other programs.
  17. dccubano, I'm also glad to see that your status is also ready. Wish everyone the best.
  18. Hello Grey Lady, The meanings of the status progressions are very helpful.
  19. I know some people in Baltimore, Boston, and Orlando from school and my hometown. I'm planning to apply to nursing schools in these areas right now to make the transition of moving out of state a lot better. Hoping for the best not only for myself, but also for everyone. I recently noticed an update on my account in WebSURF. The admissions committee labelled my application 'committee ready.' I'm kind of nervous about having my application reviewed by the committee. I finished all of my prerequisites and volunteer hours. Right now I'm getting my CNA certification. I'm also nervous about the idea that I don't know if there is anything else I can do right now after submitting my application. (Sigh) I will have to wait for additional steps. Has anyone else had any changes in their application status as well?
  20. There are a lot of responses on the summer entry page for the accelerated program in JHU. I'm applying for the fall entry. I know of one person who graduated from JHU with her masters. She said the program is very good.
  21. I hope to hear positive news from U Maryland too. Good luck everyone!
  22. Hello leenak, I agree with ljr1 that the feedback you mentioned from the orientation was very helpful. Thanks!
  23. Hello everyone, I hope you guys had a great Christmas. Has anyone else heard back from the school yet?
