Johns Hopkins Fall Entry Accelerated BSN (2012)
No, I live in Washington State! But I have a good friend that got into the JHU traditional program (Fall 2011) and she really encouraged me to apply. She also is from Washington, and says that the JHU nursing program is incredible. Good luck to you! When will you turn your application in?

Hello! I applied for the early acceptance BSN for the fall 2012 cohort. Has anyone else applied early acceptance and heard back yet? I am anxiously awaiting their decision! Thanks!

How's Omaha?
Hello Nebraska Nurses! I have just been accepted into Creighton University's accelerated BSN program and I currently live outside of Seattle in Washington State. I was hoping I could get some insight into the nursing job climate in Omaha, Creighton's nursing program, and any general information about Omaha. Are new nurses getting jobs in Omaha? What is the overall reputation of Creighton's nursing program? How well prepared are new grads from CU? Also, for any CU accelerated BSN alumni, did you have a positive experience in the program and did you feel that you learned everything you needed to in such a short program? If you can answer any or all of my question it would be a great help! Thanks very much, I really appreciate it!

Creighton's ACC
Hello all! I am in the process of applying to CU for the ABSN program August 2012. Any suggestions regarding the essay and application? How early did you both apply? I am having a hard time gauging how competitive the program is, and also a little unsure as to how the rolling admissions process impacts that. I am interested to know how fast the program fills up. Also, if you wouldn't mind sharing a few stats about yourself-- it always helps to know what kinds of applicants are being accepted! Thanks for the insight and best of luck to you!

Curry College ACCEL 2013
Congratulations on getting into Curry! I applied to Curry last year and was wait-listed, and decided to take a year off to work and will apply again in April for the ASBN program. Is that the program you are in? I am curious to know (if you don't mind sharing) what your academic and work experience are like. It helps to get a feel for what kind of applicants are considered competitive! I also live on the west-coast so can't attend info sessions, ect. Thanks and good luck!

My interview is SCHEDULED!
Congratulations! Where are you interviewing and what kind of program is it? The college where I finished my undergrad offers mock interviews in their career center. It might be a good idea to see if your school offers something similar. A good friend of mine just got into a PhD program and said the practice interview he did in the career center was extremely helpful. He said at least 70% of the questions asked by the career counselors in the mock interview were asked in his real interview. So, don't hesitate to see what resources your school's career center or guidance counselors have to offer!
