  1. Hello Ladies! I found this thread and was hoping to get some advice/info. I recently interviewed for the UCLA Summer 2013 Residency and have my second interview for the PICU next week. Any info you all can lend to help calm these nerves?? Did you get asked clinical questions during the second round? Any advice/info would be greatly applreciated!
  2. Did anyone have their PICU interview today?? If so, any advice to help calm these nerves??
  3. nuhopeful47, Thank you!! I definitley think you should apply. The first time I applied, I also had Chem in progress due to the recency policy and still got an interview! The reason I feel I didnt get in the first time was because I let my nerves get the best of me and didn't prepare myself for the interview. There was one girl in my group, that I know of, who got accepted with a class in progress. Since, you have taken Chem before I'm pretty sure they will look at that and take it into consideration. So, it's definitely possible to get accepted with a class in progress...if its more than one class then it might be more difficult. If you get an interview, my advice would be to take time and reflect on why you really want to go into the nursing field and speak from your heart :) I hope this helped. Let me know if u have any more questions!

  13. Wow, a lot of psych majors! I'm getting my suit dry cleaned too, lol. I'm also going to review my personal statement. I'm pretty nervous because I don't have much volunteer experience, but I have worked with the public a lot. So, I need to draw examples and experiences from that. Yes, good luck to us all! And, please let us know how ur interviews go!
  14. Me too! I wish it was mid-April already. I have my BA in psychology from UC Irvine. What about u? Are u doing anything to prepare for the interview?
