Should i still get my prerequisite?
I went to college and took my PN at age 40. I graduated at 41. Now I'm upgrading to diploma. I'm turning 62 on the 25th. Now I'm thinking I want to bridge to RN. Not sure I'll do it and make it, but I just want to try it. So if I were your ageI would just go for it if it's what you really want. At 41, if I would have had the money, I would have continued on for my RNs then, but I just couldn't afford it. So you see there is no age to continue, especially you are so young. Good luck to you and never mind where everyone else is. Look out for yourself. I'm sure you'll meet people younger and older than you. There is a 62 yr young man (2nd career) graduating this yr from PN program he's probably 64 now.

CPNRE - January 11th, 2012
Hi blue eyed girlCingrats on passing. Why do you say it saved you big time. I thought there was no grade except if you failed? Or are you just assuming what you got? Just wondering. Thanks

Sorry meant to say congrats to all who passed. Those who didn't make it, don't give up. Try again. But do give youself a mini break first. Make yourself some questions from your notes. This may help you. I wish you the best of luck next time you write. My prayers, and I'm sure lots of prayers will going your way.

How to cope? Very Sad.
Hi there. This is part of nursing right!! Anyway, you sound like a very caring person, and you took the time to share what must have been a very precious moment for this patient. Try to remember the special moments you had with her. I know this is a cliche, but her sufferings are no longer. She's now at peace. I'm sure this doesn't ease your, nor her family's pain right now, but in time, the pain will diminish. God bless and keep giving your caring care. Francine
