In reference to APA format try the application PERRLA its well worth the money and formats your entire paper APA style, inserts refernces etc. It has been a life saver for me with papers.

I got an email from my board of nursing with my liscence number yesterday evening, The PVT works!!

Took NCLEX yesterday, going in I was very nervous and had a case of IBS and no sleep the night before. Had tons of SATA, Pictures, 2 drug calculations, Medications I never heard of and tons of priority questions . Had about 100 questions computer shut off. Did the PVT and got the good pop up. Yay!! I did Kaplan all the QT and about 75% of the Qbanks.

Hello All!!! Actually my first day of Nursing School BSN is in a few hours. I am excited. But at the same time nervous. I had Orientation yesterday purchased books got my syllabus and calendar of the tests over the semester. Looking at my enormous books i feel overwhelmed. Just made this thread to see how everyone first day went!! Good Luck to All!!!

I am in the same predicament. I dont know which route to go. I start the program in the fall August 16,2011 and i dont know how many hours per week to work. This entire summer i been working two jobs to save money and actually pay for my nursing expense such as shoes, stethoscope, background check and all the other required documents. I am quitting one of my jobs as a cook this week my other job is at a local hospital 30 miles from home i am a nurse tech on the Med Surg floor i love my job and the experience i am getting but i don't know how hard Nursing School will be and how much i can handle. However, i need to work for gas money and cellular bill. I still live at home with my father. This is like added stress before nursing school lol i will figure something out. Im thinking about just working weekend and nights because i will have some study time at work on night shift.
