failed first NCLEX-RN
hello all, unfortunately i'm writing about recently failing my NCLEX for the first time; and by recent i mean i tested on Monday and found out a few hours ago. i took Kaplan in March and found that it confused me more than helped. i'm looking into other reviews such as Excell and Hurst and was wondering what everyone's experiences were with each. i'm also interested in resources you all used. any information from anyone would help. i'm especially interested in hearing from people who have failed their first exam and passed the second time around.

So i failed the exit hesi with a 729...i have the hesistudy.com, but i'm not sure
just wondering if you ever did pass your exit hesi. i failed test 4 in december and feel like i've used up every resource (NCLEX / HESI) known to man and don't know what else to do.

Itt, unfair exit Hesi policy
are you referring to an ITT there in KY? i've been held back from not graduating since September 2013 because i was unable to pass HESI with an 850. if i understand you correctly then you're saying i can send my transcript to KY and take my nclex there? even though i technically haven't graduated yet?

ITT Tech Orland Park
have you heard anything in the past 2 weeks about finalizing the acceptances? I've been anxiously awaiting and it's almost a few weeks until class actually starts!

Chamberlain College of Nursing - Addison
Im trying to apply for the July start - I currently have a 2.3 gpa but I'm retaking two 5 credit hour classes. if I get B's in both classes I assuming it would bring it up to at least a 2.6 which is still below the 2.75 admission requirement. i did however recieve a 90% on my HESI. has anyone ever gotten into the program with a similar gpa and high HESI score? I'm scared I'll have to take more classes over the summer and try again for the October start.

Chamberlain College of Nursing BSN Program
hi steph just wanted to know if it was rare for the school to accept anyone with a slightly lower gpa 2.6 but received a 90% on the hesi

Warning do not go to Carrington College....
Carrington college will be phasing out their RN program according to my friend who is currently going there. The first graduating class did not meet the 85% NCLEX pass rate so her class, I think fall '09 will be the last class to graduate. She said that all students who were accepeted later than her group would have to find another program to transfer to. BOGUS if you ask me. I was supposed to be the next group to be accepted in the program -_- nobody has yet to contact me and inform me of this officially.

ITT Tech
My friend who currently goes to Carrington informed me last week that the school didn't meet some sort of accreditation requirement (first graduating class did not have an 85% pass rate on the NCLEX) so they will be phasing the RN program out of the school ... I have yet to be informed by any carrington representative which I'm thoroughly ****** off about. My friend said that her group, which started in the summer of 08 will be the last RN program class and that all other students who were accepted later are to find new programs to transfer to. Can you say bogus?

ITT Tech
hi everyone, new to this (my first post). i recently had thoroughly heartbreaking experience with Carrington College; i was basically told i was accepted into the program but they wouldn't be accepting any new students for the time being because they were being reviewed by the national board or something or other. i can't afford to wait anymore and am very interested in other options in the area. i've been trying to find information on the new ITT Tech RN program in Henderson, but so far not much luck. i had a brief conversation with one of the nursing program "advisors" at itt tech and said that all i needed was the hesi a2 which i already took, but missing the grammar section. does anyone know if there are any other admission requirements? is the school accredited? any information at all would be very helpful!
