Gonzaga CRNA Program Fall 2017 Application
Oh awesome! You definitely just have to do what's best for you and where you think you will succeed. I don't know much about Rush just because I'm originally from Northern California, so I stayed west coast. But either way, congrats on getting an interview! I know for sure that this applicant pool was insanely competitive. So keep up the hard work and I'll see you at orientation!

Gonzaga CRNA Program Fall 2017 Application
Hey there! One semester down, and started second semester. Overall, Gonzaga is an incredible program and I am very happy with my decision. It was also my first interview, and since we found out just days after interviews, I decided to accept and not pursue any other schools. I was offered to interview at 4 other schools, but Gonzaga was my top choice so I didn't find it necessary (given travel cost, etc.). I'm 100% glad I chose Gonzaga... I would highly recommend it honestly! Where you coming from? I'm sure I'll see you during orientation / interviews since current students will all be there

Gonzaga CRNA Program Fall 2017 Application
Got in as well not waitlisted. I talked to Karen and she said she would be sending out an email for those accepted once they filled the 2 spots they need to fill. I guess they're starting to work through the waitlist and have given two students an offer and they have until 12/8 to give them an answer. My family and I will be moving up from California. I'm thinking we will move out there either end of March or beginning of April. Just sold our home. Now looking at homes in that area and may decide to build. It's getting real to say the least lol Definitely excited though!

Kaiser anesthesia (kpsan) 2018
I decided not to apply to this school. Initially it was my first choice because it was only 24 months and dirt cheap, not to mention they are a wonderful program. The cost of living of course offset that a bit. They have an incredible reputation, and a good friend of mine got in last year and loves it. However, I applied elsewhere and accepted a position at Gonzaga University. Cost of living is incredibly affordable, tuition around 85k for a 3 year DNAP. I just couldn't justify spending 90k, 3 years for DNP, AND paying Pasadena rent. I understand when you graduate that you will make great money, but that's just an insane amount of student loans you'd have to take out. AND you can't work while you're in the program. I met with the program director as part of the application process and he said that I would for sure get an interview if I decided to apply. My stats are: 4.0 GPA New grad directly into ICU 4 years mixed ICU (Med/Surg, Neuro, Trauma (Level I university hospital), Transplant, Cardiac) Charge RN Preceptor Rapid Response / Code Team Nurse Member of Partnership Council (unit based committee that sets standards / unit goals) Chair and co-creator of Education Committee (created new hire orientation and trauma education course that consists of didactic and hands on equipment training) Hope this helps, and good luck to you on your application!!!

Gonzaga CRNA Program Fall 2017 Application
I seriously cannot wait to hear back lol I'm thankful we find out so soon, but even these couple days have been torture! What made you stumble or get nervous during the clinical portion if you don't mind me asking? I felt that during my Code I mentioned everything on what I was thinking was going on with my patient, but it seemed like he wanted me to mention something else. Wasn't sure he was looking for me to say something specific or if he was just trying to test my stress / see if he could push further?

Gonzaga CRNA Program Fall 2017 Application
Hey All! I wanted to see if anyone else is planning on applying to Gonzaga's CRNA program this go around. Any previous or current students have any info that could be beneficial to us applicants during this process, and potentially for interviews? Also, does anyone know when we find out if we are invited for an interview? Thanks, and good luck to everyone!

Trauma Nursing - TCRN
For those of you who have taken the exam, how would you rate it? Difficult? In comparison to CCRN? I also heard that it's great to take TCAR for studying material. I have taken TCAR, TNCC, and CCRN... So I'm thinking of taking the TCRN. :)

Here's a little info that I got regarding orientation! Orientation is 5 hours on 3/17 7:45 am to 1:00 pm. The rest of that first week will be the nursing orientation 8-5. There will be approximately 2-3 hours of pre-work over the internet before orientation. You’ll be paid for that time. Hope this helps!- Stanford RN Residency 2014
Thank you! I'm super excited! When are you supposed to find out? Any one know what orientation is going to look like?- Stanford RN Residency 2014
I got a phone call this morning saying I got offers for B2 and E2! So I chose E2, Neuro Trauma ICU. I'm so excited! I believe other people received offers from other units too, just not sure which ones...- Stanford RN Residency 2014
