University of South Alabama
I would not recommend anyone to go to USA. They are a money hungry school and really do not care about their students. I graduate in July from there and I am not going back for my MSN!! Some instructors are amazing but overall they just care about your money. I would go to a smaller school where you can get more one on one time with instructors. Good luck.

William Carey
Hi! I'm about to graduate from University of South Alabama with my BSN.. I'm wanting to apply at the tradition campus for my MSN. Do you know anything about that program? Did you like the tradition campus? I'm really trying to research schools before I chose one so I don't end up hating it like I hate USA now. Thanks so much!

ATI?
I just got ATI at my school too! We have to score a 90 on it or else we fail the class we are in. I just paid 200 dollars for it! It's crazy, and we have to take the HESI as our mid-curriculum test and as our exit test! The practice test help, but they are the same questions repeated. It also forms a focused review for you, but like all of us we already have tons to be reading. But if you have time go over their focused review and they have short little videos also! IT is basically just NCLEX questions though. Good luck :))

Did anyone hate nursing school?
I'm so happy that my classmates and I aren't the only ones who are hating nursing school. We are in our second semester and we haven't learned anything. All we are doing in the hospital is giving baths, chaning linens, and taking vitals. The hospital we are at starting letting their CNA's and PCA's go home because we were doing all their work. I feel like I'm not learning anything, they give us all this paperwork to do the night before on our patient, then they give us quizzes DURING our clinicals. While on top of that we have 2-3 test a week for our theory class and diet therapy class. We aren't getting any clinical experience I feel like, I feel when I get into the real world I'm going to be as incompetent as I am now. I hope that being an actual RN is way better than being a nursing student. Because I HATE nursing school- the stress, emotions, and anxiety it gives me is ridiculous.
