Congrats!!!! I'm at the Winchester campus

Well I called the financial aid office yesterday and asked if they offered any kind of scholarship or grant money. They told me no, only federal loan or private loan. In my case that would be $12500 for the school yr.(federal) and it's alittle over 50k for the program, not including books, supplies, health insurance, or living expenses. It's already expensive to live in that area. So that concluded my choice to go to Shenandoah university, although that program more expensive but I got some scholarships, grants, and work study along with the federal loan. I would still have to get a small loan or work overtime to cover other cost but I would be in a lot less debt when I complete the program. So, find out what the other school has to offer as far as financial aid, compare the cost of both schools, and go from there.

Hello everyone, I received my acceptance packet in the mail today!!! I'm excited, however housing is expensive and I'm already stressing about how I'm going to pay for it. I'm from north carolina, btw. So I will be visiting the school soon and look around.

I didnt get in, I was really hoping to return to the school I graduated from and be in less debt. I love Carolina, but I'm not mad I was accepted to absn program somewhere else. Good luck to everyone who has been accepted and don't give up to those who were wait listed or denied

Hello everyone, I was accepted for fall 2013, I'm soo excited!!! I got a verbal admission and I will be getting the packet in the mail soon. I'm from nc and I'll be attending at the Winchester campus cause I'm hoping to get on campus housing. Plus I was told its less expensive to live there instead of leesburg if you are coming from out of state.
