  3. Hi - I am thinking of travel nursing (1st time) and starting in Miami (from Vancouver, Canada) I have heard many many things about it there - from being way too scary (guns, gangs etc) to being a cool place (nice beaches, restaurants, beaches etc.) Can you recommend some good hospitals to work in and or safe sections to live in etc. I really want to see things if I'm traveling this far (enjoy sight seeing, beaches culture etc) any info would be appreciated!
  4. I am planning to travel nurse to Florida (from Vancouver, Canada) this fall. Would love to check out Miami, but have been hearing the city can be pretty rough. Does anyone have comments about where to go (and where to avoid there?) Where are the good teaching hospitals? Or even a safer city around Miami? signed, trying to decide - thanks! I am an ortho trauma RN for last 8 yrs.
