I totally agree! I love working in LTC. My goal is to be a geriatric nurse. The elderly definitely deserve way more respect then they get. I work nights right now we have 50 patients almost half have alarms. We have 3 aides and two nurses at night. I know in the day they are always short handed...

I am having same problem. I feel like I don't have much confidence for clinicals. I have worked at a retirement home for 4 or 5 years as a waitress and 10 months as a CNA. I have no hospital experience at all and it seems like everyone else in my class has. So I am worried about going to the hospital

I am really nervous for this to! We haven't gotten to Caths yet. We have to pass a cath test before we can go into clinicals so I am really nervous about messing up

I am in nursing school right now. We just learned about boundaries and laws. They also taught boundaries to me when I went through my CNA class. What do you mean by "back when you actually learned how to be a nurse in nursing school"
