  1. Got facebook? Search for Filippinsk Sykepleiere
  2. Hello! How much "show money" are they (embassy) asking?
  3. I havent received my results yet (I am outside of Canada). CNO said to give it an additional 2-3 weeks for international mail. One question before this thread closes: are the results sent as priority mail or just a regular one? Thank you.
  4. Hi. I guess I will be the last one to receive a result since I am in Norway Good luck to us!
  5. Stavanger is not close to Oslo, you have to drive for 8 hrs or fly by plane for an hr to get to Oslo from Stavanger (viceversa) There is a group on facebook : filippinsk sykepleier - good resources, check it out, most members are from Oslo. Good luck to all applicants.
  6. Hi guys! I am wondering how long will it take for the mail to arrive abroad? Is the mail registered? Anyone among you waiting for the results abroad? Thanks!
  7. I'm in Canada too. Took me 5 months wait after I sumbitted my BET. Good luck.
  8. Hi again! RN licenses in Poland is equivalent to ours in Norway :) I have a Polish RN friend in Norway, all she needs to do is change her license over to norwegian license. Norwegian RN license are eligible for the CRNE :) Good luck! Hoping you get your RN eligibility soon! Cheers!
  9. Hello Chlebek23! Just wondering why you chose to apply for RPn instead of RN assesment. Thanks
  10. Hi Richelle. Do you by any chance has an aunt in Sola (near Stavanger). Thank you.
  11. For me,the best client for discharge is one who had a chronic condition and is most familiar with their care. Client A is most likely stable &could continue medication therapy at home.
  12. Thinking about a lowered immune system and cellulitis needs prolonged hospitalization.
  13. My answer is A. I was thinking that this client has been admitted 5 days ago and receiving antibiotics.
  14. Which of these clients would the nurse put first on the list to be discharged in order to make a room available for a new admission: a. A middle aged client with a history of being ventilator dependent for over 7 years and admitted with bacterial pneumonia five days ago. b. A young adult with DM type2 for over 10 years and admitted with antibiotic induced diarrhea 24 hrs ago. c. An elderly client with history of hypertension, hypercholesterolemia and lupus and was admitted with Steven-Johnson syndrome that morning. d. An adolescent with a positive HIV test and admitted for acute cellulitis of the lower leg 48 hrs ago.
  15. Thank guys! that's my answer too. I have more questions and your rationales are greatly appreciated! Thanks again guys!
  16. Found some sample questions: Mrs. Smith, 30yo, has undergone caesarian section because of cephalo-pelvic disproportion. She is experiencing severe pain after the procedure and does not want to hold her baby. What should the nurse do? a. Explain to the patient the importance of bonding with her newborn. b. Inform the patient that pain is to be expected and give her a warm blanket. c. Administer analgesia and reassess patients comfort level. d. Advise the patient that holding the baby will distract her form her pain.
  17. ops I am sorry... didnt ask from where you are.
  18. Hi there. here's the link created for us: https://allnurses.com/canadian-nurses/crne-prep-group-582652.html
  19. Thanks for the advice. But I am thinking more now about books sharing than a group session. The CRNE references in the libraries are always not available and it takes like forever to get hold of one I have some references/prep guides that I am using now and that I can share
  20. Also you can follow the new thread CRNE October 2011. If you live around the Toronto area, we can arrange for some group study on a library
  21. Sorry about that.
  22. Lykketil!
  23. Too funny! Congratulations!
