  1. Paid the $7.95 and foud out today I passed. I had the "good pop-up" the whole time. So the PVT worked for me.
  2. If you got that pop-up, you passed.
  3. I took it this afternoon. 143 Questions and 1 hr 45 mins later I had no clue if I passed. I did the PVT and got the good pop up. I sure as hell hope it's accurate.
  4. Congratulations, You're in for a wild ride. You should get all kinds of info about financial aide. I would worry about it.
  5. If you get your transcript in before the decisions are made you might be okay. Not sure. Sorry but I threw away the study guide after I took the test.
  6. i'm real sorry to hear that mcinjg28. i know how you feel. if you e-mail sue and set up a time to talk on the phone she will be happy to go over your application and give you advice on where to strengthen your next application. worked for me.
  7. I was just accepted to the May 2012 cohort. I had applied to the October 2011 cohort but was not accepted due to no CNA experience and not having my prereqs complete prior to the application deadline. (that should tell you something). The TEAS V was not that hard but I highly reccommend the study guide. The questions on the test are not anything like the ones on the practice tests but they will steer you in the right direction as far as what to study. I got in the 98th percentile by only studying the study guide. The interviews are typical fair. They ask you the questions you would expect But they are more geared toward why you applied to THIS program. So to summarized my reccommendations (for what they are worth): -Have a decent prereq GPA. It doesn't have to be great (mine was 3.2) but it does have to be well over the minimum of 2.75 -Have CNA experience (big one). -Have all of you pre-reqs done prior to application. Although the CNA experience and prereq completion are not requirements, not having them will make you less competitive than someone who does have those checks in the box. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  8. Reapplicants do not have phone interviews. I had another online interview but it was just one question. It was along the lines of "What have you done to strengthen your application this time?"
  9. Hey guys, I applied to the October 2011 cohort but was not accepted. I had a 3.1 pre-req GPA and 98th percentile on the TEAS V but I was two classes short on my prereqs and I had no CNA experience. They encouraged me to reapply and I did. After talking to Sue she said the fact that I was not Pre-req complete and not CNA exeperienced it made me not competitive but if I correct that I should be in good shape for the May 2012 cohort. I finished my two pre-reqs this summer and have been working as a CNA in a nursing home since June. I hope that does it.
  10. It went well I guess. The interviewers were real nice and they made it seem like I did well. I don't know if they were like that for everybody though.
  11. Just had my phone interview today. It was pretty relaxed and the interviewers were very nice. They said to expect the admission decisions within the next two weeks.
  12. I have my phone interview scheduled for April 25th. Has anyone already had their phone interview? What kind of questions did they ask?
  13. I just scheduled my phone interview for the October 2011 cohort. Has anyone done the same? Has anyone been throught the phone interview before? What kind of questions do they ask? How much should I prepare?
