Could you possibly get a recorder and record any interactions that you have with her/him? This could be another way to document her/his abuse towards you. That way if she/he denies your claim on paper you would have his/her voice. I'm very sorry you are going through this at your workplace.

Optimisticallyhappy Bio155 is a online nutrition course that gives you more points than the nur118. If I'm not mistaken Nur 118 is the only Nur course you can take without being in the program. When I had talked to S she told me to take either one but bio155 is more points.

Yeah I hate it too, when I went to get my physical for the lpn program the Np said "why not just be an RN." I was a little shocked she said that but the main thing is your doing something positive in your life. I have learned to take in what applies and throw the rest away. I also have realized that no matter what you do someone somewhere will have a problem with it. Congrats on the accomplishment of becoming a nurse you have earned it!!!!

I see the concern for sure! I guess it just depends on the hospitals/programs because in the same hospital after I had given birth the student nurse didn't get to do anything but watch. (These were two different schools in the area)

My husband was in the er and a student nurse gave meds with no RN or preceptor around. I actually seen the student nurse more than the supervisor nurse. She was polite and we had no issues. I'm sure the Nurse checks all meds before she gives them.

Thanks we have been celebrating all day, It is still very possible to get your letters! I'm surprised I got mine today really I thought maybe Saturday or next week. Plus those that got accepted into the RN that no longer needs the PN program will drop their seats. Deadline for that is May 13th so even if you don't get anything immediate there is still hope.

Well I stalked the postman this morning and I got in!!!!! I'm so happy,:dancgrp: and can't wait to get to know you all more as friends and classmates.

That's all I ask is for some love!! Maybe we will find out next week.

Thanks for the heads up! My number one cheerleader is my husband and no matter what schedule I may get (Day or Evening), he's willing to work around which is great :) If I get in the program that is, I am well prepared to put in work and study be beyond my best. If I don't get in I'm prepared to keep working and finish up some more pre reqs and apply to the some more programs.

I am currently on the waitlist at Queens for the ASN program. I'm still waiting here too! They said around the end of April that they were still counting points. Even though they told me that I still find myself waiting on the mail

I have worked both and I'm not sure with others but home health here is more housework, which is why I'm no longer in home health. I personally enjoy the hustle and bustle of ltc facility. I do agree that ltc will allow you to use your skills. I have some crazy stories about both but home health takes the cake. Good Luck in either choice.

Yeah me too!! Then I noticed financial aid on the envelope. I was like dang they got me good my heart was beating so fast when I seen Gaston College. We got this though our hard work will pay off!

I do like that the evening class is smaller.
