  1. Hi RNBSN22! I had my initial RN I interview (civil service exam) during the last week of October and I received the letter informing me that I passed just about the second week of January. It was a long wait! Now I don't know if I should wait for them to call me or should I keep calling county hospitals?
  2. I'm still praying and hoping to get that call! Anyone from LA area? Have you guys heard anything yet?
  3. Thanks so much the info, RNTriathlete! :) Now I have to review my RN notes again. This is making me feel like I'm taking NCLEX all over again. lol
  4. Thanks, I checked out the thread and I got so much information! Also, I was wondering since I'll be interviewing at Olive View, does it mean that's the only hospital I'd be able to get hired? I don't really know how the application process for LA County goes. :| Thanks RNTriathlete! :)
  5. Hi! Could you guys share some insight regarding the Civil Service Interview for RN I position in LA County? :) I'm having an interview in a few weeks, and I don't have the slightest idea of what to expect. Replies are greatly appreciated. Thank y'all.:):redbeathe:nurse:
  6. Do any of you guys know where exactly the HR office at Children's is? :)
  7. Do we need to submit the original copy of our transcript? Help! :z
  8. Have you guys received the packet yet? :)
  9. Thanks, that was my screen name while I was studying for NCLEX, and I was so happy that screen name actualized itself. When do you plan to take it? Best of luck to you! :)
  10. What a relief! Thanks Lauren4268! :) Now we just have to wait for the packet!
  11. I didn't get it either. I'm starting to worry now.. I hope to get the packet as soon as possible. :z
  12. Hi, did you guys take the 100 item survey after completing the online application?
  13. eowynmn, Your scores are good, don't worry too much about it as long as you understand how to tackle the kaplan type of q's, you're good to go ^_^ My scores were average and yes I passed the exam! You'll do great. :)
  14. did you try the PVT? I took mine today and I got the good pop-up. :)
  15. Is it okay to relax and unwind two days prior to my scheduled exam, or is it better to study, read more and just use the remaining hours for review until test date? What do you guys think?Any advice? Thanks :)
  16. Good Luck! I'm taking mine in two weeks! :)
  17. Prayers, Davis, La Charity, Notes, Prayers and more prayers and confidence! :):)
  18. Thank you! :) took Q5 today and my score went up to 62%! :)
  19. Thanks so much, Pooh Bear RN. You are keeping me motivated! ^_^
  20. Thank you uaefan, I'm kind of getting a bit anxious about my upcoming exam but I'm keeping things positive! I read Saunders and I do Q's from DAVIS, LA CHARITY and EXAM CRAM and oh,QTRAINER on weekends! All my schoolmates passed and they're so positive about me acing it too! I'm expecting for the best! ^_^
  21. You can download it from a file sharing website, I got mine from a previous NCLEX passer who gave me the link to his files. Unfortunately it isn't available anymore. Try googling it, there are lots of sources around here. ^_^
  22. Just finished QT4 and I got a 55%. Not bad. At least I understand the rationales ^_^
  23. I'm from LA, took me six months to be eligible to take the NCLEX RN. Do follow-ups! :)
