  1. GOD'S my BOSS, and HE LOVES ME... Thank you GOD for being GOD and GOD all by YOURself. In the Name of Jesus.
  2. Well, just read your post Dimplez, and I remember the first time you tested..HELLO!!!...I sincerely hope you went ahead and took that test last Tuesday...Because if you know like I know ...You are well prepared!!! You only expressed the anxiety of taking this TEST like we all do even if for the first time... And for me I tend to do well with internal pressure, it drives me to stress enough to just get the job done... POSITIVE VIBES coming your way...Keep us posted.
  3. Oh my goodness, that really stinks. If I may offer my opinion, and your post is indiscriminate of the type of replies...Pray!!! Pray!!! Pray!!! and if that doesn't work Pray harder!!! And listen for what GOD has to say. Let me offer you this, "I know I can't ..., I know I couldn't">>get it out of your vocabulary. You are competent or you wouldn't have made it this far. Believe this, some nurses seem to think that he/she are the only ones who should be nurses, SHAKE THE HATERS OFF!!! WHEREVER THEY MAY BE OR WHOEVER THEY MAY BE. May GOD bless you, seek HIM for all things, trust HIM for all things, believe HIM for all things. Now, stop and look to your left, now your right, above you, below you... GOD's there, if you didn't see HIM, keep seeking.
  4. AWWWW... People, please don't be discouraged and quit altogether... Trust me you don't have to quit, because nursing school has its own way of ridding you if you let it, you don't have to quit... not everyone, at first, had a clue about the nursing or medical field, they just knew they wanted it and rolled with the punches as we do for anything else in our lives and you have to start somewhere, and what GOD has started HE is faithful to complete it... Good luck. Try and hang in there...JMHO.
  5. Hopefully, if you made contact with this company they answered your question if you asked... That's the importance of asking the author what is meant and not leave it up to others interpretation. I know what it means, however, as nurses we need to ask the right questions of the right people for the right reasons, at all times. Good luck.
  6. Oh my goodness. But as a NURSE I have to respect others "idiosyncrasies"... Nursing is a dirty job, let me repeat, dirty job. Nothing cute about nursing at all, besides wearing that title and cashing that paycheck... So you have to decide for yourself if this is really cut out for you... But please consider why are in wanting it in the first place, maybe the benefits I already mentioned...hmmmm.... Think it over... GOOD LUCK to the both of you previous posters.
  7. This is JMHO... I believe already licensed nurses think they are above any nursing student, newly licensed nurse, etc. only because they see others as a threat to them and their stability. LOL As if no one is good enough to be a nurse but them... a somewhat elitist attitude. NOW that's a thought. GET IT?!?! GOOD LUCK!!! I know I am brutally honest and I wish to keep it that way. Thanks for this post.
  8. Correction, here in Texas it's 45 days. For some reason Chris I thought you already passed the NCLEX-RN.
  9. FIZZ... I am so sorry to hear that you did not pass... Geesh what a tough break... But GOD is bigger than anything you are currently facing...Keep trusting in HIM with all thine heart...it may be a fact that you didn't pass, but GOD knows it's not the truth. You passed but not just yet...Call those things that be not as though they already are..."FAITH" you gotta have it... Bless you, need anything let me know.
  10. Yes... and if that doesn't work... try something else... I think I responded to a prior post of yours... And IMHO, I would highly consider if all is really worth what you are feeling... This profession/job isn't rocket science and it doesn't take one to know if this is the best environment for you... I am a person who is a DOER, I follow my instinct at all times and in the long run, I am happy, because I deserve to be happy too!!! No ifs, buts or supposes... Good Luck... I hope you find the guts to follow your instincts... You know the ones as a nurse that should be somewhat already there.
  11. life goes on. :balloons: Of course it does, and it still is GOOOD!!! If I were the betting type I would bet you PASSED!!!
  12. I wonder what "they" would say about you as you have about "them". The reason I say that is this... my first instinct would tell me whether or not I need to be in the position I am in, I would rather be unemployed rather than being unhappy or frustrated if you "truly" feel you are not getting where you need to be. It doesn't take a year of anything to know if it is not for you. But the questions to ask yourself, as previously mentioned in a reply, is if there are any other areas you could go to or for that fact, any other place near you for you to work. IMHO I believe you have already made up your mind. You are still fresh and many employers would hire you, forget about the time you may have til you find something somewhere else. God gives us 5 good senses, and as an RN, you truly should know how to use them, especially in your own situation. So, keep up your confidence, don't ever feel like you have to settle because of the kind of "money" that you are currently making and probably the most you have ever made in your entire life. Remember, peace of mind and happiness is well worth a trade... But of course I would feel a whole lot better knowing that I am happy with my situation, and no job or amount of money truly affords you that peace. It's a duty to the public to be comfortable/safe in your role at this particular place... Please find it. Thank you for seeking advice, it's free, see no charge... Now I feel better...LOL

Hmmm, wondering since your license is hanging in the balance can you still work or call yourself LPN/LVN?? I think it is very important to get to the bottom of this before continuing in a position you seem not to have a current license for. JMHO.
  14. Did I mention RUN!!! okay, now it's said.
