Multiple schools
I’m thinking of applying for a school nurse position that covers 5 schools. How does that even work? I know next to nothing about being a school nurse. Are there any resources you can suggest that would be helpful? Thanks

Interview Questions
Goodness... any help on how to answer the questions? I’m thinking about applying for our school nurse position. I work in peds currently so feel confident about actual nursing care, but a lot of those questions seem to be based on policy. How would you suggest someone prepare for an interview with no school nursing experience?

Help almost new grad
So, I graduate with my BSN in August. I am currently 14 wks pregnant, so that puts me at 20 wks when I graduate. Seriously what are the chances that I'm going to get hired anywhere. All around people are saying they are having a hard time finding a job, its just not looking good for me. Granted if Im not showing really when I interview, I know I dont really have to tell them, but I would feel so dishonest. And say I dont get a job until after the baby, I will be a 6-month or year old grad with no experience, that sounds almost worst. Anyone been in this situation, or have any advice? Thanks!

Pay for RN assisting homebirth CNM
Just wondering if this was a person you knew personally, or just applied. This sounds like exactly what I want to do. I graduate with my BSN in August, and would love to work at a birthing center or homebirths.

US nurses student wanting to be a widwife in the UK
Well all that sounds just a tad disappointing. I guess I mainly need to focus on finishing school now. I will be a midwife one day be it in the US or UK. I just might have to be more patient then I want to be :)

US nurses student wanting to be a widwife in the UK
In about 8 months I will be graduating with a BSN (a 4 year degree). My passion is women's health and I think in the US, especially in the area I live, childbirth has become anything but the natural process it should be. My ultimate goal is the become a certified nurse midwife. I travelled to England a couple of years back, and fell in love with it. My dream is to go back, and my understanding is that midwives are fairly commonplace in the UK. So here is what I know (or so I think): I have to have 12 months experience before applying for a work visa, I have to register with NMC, I need a hospital that will sponsor me, and I also think that if I become a midwife in the US in doesn't transfer to the UK. So I guess I'm just looking for anyone that can give me any information or advice. Is there a specific place I should work those 12 months? How is midwiving in the UK? Anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
