I'm also curious about jobs/wages in Florida, specifically the Pensacola area. I've been traveling for the last year, but want to settle down closer to home (Louisiana). Psych is my specialty. Any ideas?

Does anyone have any experience with this facility in Dallas? Any info would be greatly appreciated! :nuke:

So you weren't overwhelmed on your first assignment? What type of facility were you sent to? I would be so afraid to take an assignment with only 8 mos. med/surg. I left that hospital feeling like I had so much to learn!

What about a Psych assignment? Do you feel that a year in Psych is enough experience?

I am wanting to travel, but my experience includes 8 mos. Med/Surg and a year Psych. I love Psych and really don't want to do anything else. I would appreciate any input as to whether or not I have enough experience to travel. Also, recommendations as to companies who have a lot of Psych assignments would be greatly appreciated!

I just checked the BON website again and I AM A FREAKING REGISTERED NURSE!!!!!!! I've been checking it almost every hour...checked it before I went to bed at 11:00 p.m...nothing. Woke up at 2:00 a.m. and checked for the heck of it, feeling stupid for checking at that hour...and THERE I AM!!!!!!! I'm in shock. I was positive I failed that test. Took NCLEX-RN today and OMG I'm freaking out. I can't believe I sat there for nearly 6 hours and had to answer that many questions. There were so many things I've never heard of...surgeries...drugs! It was horrible! Who else had that many questions, and did you pass or fail? I'm tired of searching through all the different posts. MSUnurse
