  1. Thanks for your reply......I really appreciate it!! I spoke to a couple of counselors, and they were very vague in their responses. I only work 2 days a week, so hopefully that will allow me to complete 2 courses concurrently and speed up the process of completion. At the end of the day, 2 years sounds like such a looong time...lol!!. Congrats on your successful completion of your courses so far, and again, I appreciate the feedback!!!
  2. How has your experiences been so far at Chamberlain's MSN program. Do you think it's possible to take 2 grad glasses at the same time, or is the schoolwork to intense?
  3. I'm about to enroll in the MSN Nurse executive track at Chamberlain. I finish my BSN in June, and would like to know if anyone currently attends this program. I've enjoyed myself so much in the BSN program, that I'm almost certain I'd enjoy their MSN curriculum as well. Specifically I'm looking for time frames for completion. Is it possible to take 2 graduate classes at the same time without being overwhelmed or having my grad education compromised. I know it's a 2 year program, but my advisor did state that some grad students double up. If anyone could give me some feedback on Chamberlain's MSN program and curriculum, I'd appreciate it!!!
  4. Keep it friendly and just focus on your studies. Once you graduate and pass your boards, you will have all kinds of time and options to mess around. And can you really afford the UNNECESSARY potential for drama while trying to make it through a very difficult course of study??? If you can, go for it....but if you can't, LEAVE IT ALONE!!!
  5. I just recently passed my CCRN on the first try with just 2 weeks of study. I found the exam very difficult. However, at the end of the day, you must know the material and there's just NO getting around it. I used the disc, and like you, rec'd higher than normal scores because of memorization of the questions and answers, so I wouldn't rely too much on that. However, if you can understand the rational to the answers, and make sure you know the subject content, you should be fine. Also, the one thing that taking the sample disc questions does is condition you to take a 150 question test, because maintaining concentration for that long over so many questions takes a little getting used to. But, again, knowing you hemodynamics, pulmonary, treatments, etc....you will do ok.
  6. I'm really impressed with Chamberlain at this point. My admission counselor is working with me to help prepare me for my upcomming classes. He's been very clear and responds very promptly. The financial aid dept has also been very willing to explain all options in a very uncomplicated kind of way. I start my BSN completion on Oct 25th and hopefully, if all goes well, will continue to their MSN program.
  7. Hey Luna, Chamberlain should either put you on payroll or offer you a position as an admission counselor for as much advice you give about their program....LOL!!! Anyway, congrats on completing the program....no grad school for you??
