  1. I just took MAT 142 online at Rio because it's required for ASU. I would say it would probably be easier than Mat 151 that my husband is taking right now.
  2. I got in today as well. My timestamp was 12/09 and I got my second choice of Phoenix Collge. Let the fun begin!!!!!
  3. The way I read it was that it was the hospitals that are making this happen not the school. So it makes sense to tell people hey you can't complete the program with out doing clinicals and if the hospital won't let you participate then it's a waste of your money and time. I do think it's adbsurd some of the things that will disqualify you. If you show up on the TSA watch list it could be an issue. How many people have been put on that list by mistake? There is going to be alot of people having to jump through hoops to prove they are legit.
  4. My time stamp is December 2009 and I have my fingers crossed to get in this winter. Is the NAU program slowing things down. Depends on how you look at it. Gateway added spots to their program in response to it. When I talked to someone at MCCCD they said it took about 100 slots out of the running which was similar to when they had the Banner and other programs running. It will effect the people that are new to the list more than those of us who have been waiting awhile.
  5. So if you don't mind me asking what was your time stamp? :)
  6. I called and spoke with them yesterday as I felt the same way. If you have been on the list for a year or two already it will not effect you. It will effect the people who are just getting on the list right now. He said on average about 130 or so slots will go towards the new program. Which really isn't any different as when they were doing the Banner program. I did find it offensive though that they told us to look at other options. Of course most of us that chose to sit on a waiting list for 2 years can't afford those other options. I did respond to that email to tell them that. I suggest that anyone who does have an issue with it send them an email. It's the only way to get heard and get the point across.
  7. Just wondering if anyone in the program there has an idea of where they do clinicals. I checked on the website and it seems pretty hazy on that. Do they use Phoenix valley hospitals or do they go with clinics and hospice type settings.
  8. Just spoke with someone on the hotline. My timestamp in 12/09 and it looks like I won't even be considered until Jan 2012.
  9. Well hello. There was a message this morning that over 80 people with a 6/2009 time stamp had not reaffirmed. That might be good for some of us with later time stamps. Mine is 12/2009. Good luck everyone.
