Accredited Dialysis Training Centers in the Philippines
Before certain branches of Nephrogroup would accept trainees on cash bond only. Nephro Center Manila and Nephro Center Caloocan to name a few. But now they made the training system centralized, so it's not gonna be like that anymore. Most of the dialysis centers I know ask for training fees. Sorry can't give you much help.

Training on Dialysis
Oh well, better grab the first opportunity for training. The situation at present is different from when I was also scouting for training and volunteer experience years ago. I'm so thankful I was given a shot by Nephrogroup. Without them I might still be standing on shaky ground as far as our profession is concerned.

Training on Dialysis
RENAP requires only 1 month of dialysis training at the least. The training institution (NKTI, FMC, Nephro, etc) requirements varies. Some would require 6 mos. hospital experience first, some would not. But the trend goes into most (and soon maybe all) requiring some hospital experience.

Recommended Blood Flow thro Fistula Needles
Supercath is widely used in Europe nowadays. Most of our first time patients on vacation from europe (I work in Central America) give me the "look" of hesitation when they see that the needles prepared on our kit are the conventional dialysis needles. They would then request for the "plastic" ones. But we don't have them so therefore don't use them on our unit. The next time they come back for another vacation, they bring their own needles. :)
