Still nothing, it might be because of all the stuff surrounding the merger

1) Start: September 4th Morris County Vo-Tech NJ 2) Ends July 24th 3) I'm becoming an LPN because: (1) It's my plan b just in case I don't get into the BSN program at Rutgers I should find out between today and tomorrow (2) It will allow me to work and finish up school I grad May 2014 with my BSW I will be completing the LPN program at the same time and then will go on to apply for the accelerated program. It will give me he much needed experience while allowing me to work and support my family at the same time. 4) Program cost: the program will cost me about 10,000 because I am an out of county student 5) I'm unsure of the number of lecture/clinical hours but the clincials start the third week of October Good Luck All

SMH lol I thought it would be some type of automated system that would magically update our status and send out an email lol...I've had lots of time to think about this process lol

quick question! i would like to apply to rutgers nursing program for the fall 2012 semester i am currently enrolled in the college of arts and science and my first semester @ rutgers starts in a few weeks. i recently finished up with my associates degree at essex and was wondering if i need 24 credits from rutgers in order to do the school to school transfer or would my 64 credit plus those i earn at the end of the spring semester count. or do i need 24 credits all from rutgers? please help

Letters will be mailed out in 2 weeks. I spoke to the secretary. She said all she could tell me is that we have to have to be in the 50th percentile and above to be accepted into the program

Nope....well hopefully we will be hearing something sometime this week...it is the week before Thanksgiving and aren't Spring classes going to be available for online registration soon?....ahh can't wait to find out the verdict...lol

Really? more applicants? y?.....thats a good thing though :) If people are still testing I wonder if that's going to push back the time frame for the letters to be mailed out.....hmm I'm surprised their still testing I thought the 21st was the last day, I didn't see any other dates opened when I went to register for the test online

I also spoke to my friend who is already in the program and graduate this year, she said she got in with a 120 composite but she scored 50 and above in the percentiles so you have nothing to worry about :)

I spoke to one of the directors they said they don't know anything yet, due to the fact that some members of the admissions board want to change the way the scores are looked at because they think its 2 strict especially since they no longer break the score down to separate 2 year and 4 year school percentiles. but SNHRN2b you def got in, I got a 116 and she told me not to worry that I did very well so you did extraordinary, probably one of the best!! She said the last group/column (relative percentiles has to be above 50) if they look at the exam score the way they normally do. She also mentioned that we should know something by mid-November.

Idk, I think its last last column especially if its Percentiles based on others that have taken the test and entered similar nursing programs. You are definitely going to get in without a doubt. The only thing I'm worried about is the Math section last column. If its the middle then I'll be super happy but I doubt it since that's only based on the number of questions answered correctly, and I know Essex goes by the percentile.

I realllllly want to do nursing. The only problem is Rutgers isn't taking transfer nursing students this year so I'd have to have 24 credits from Rutgers in order to transfer into their nursing program as a Rutgers student so that's the route I will have to take if I don't get into the program at Essex.

When I took the test it was about 25 people. My computer froze 3 times. I had to use 3 different computers There was a guy taking the test his computer was frozen the whole time, he was really ****** I felt so bad. He was close to crying but I felt his pain...Wow on 3 people...lol...we had a full room but no one discussed it after when I asked one guy he ran away lol idk what was wrong with him haha.....how do you think you did

I just called Ms. Jackson at the school; and she said it goes by the middle category, but i don't think she knows what shes talking about because then I asked her if its the one with the percent sign or is it the percentile; she said the one with the percent sign. If its that one then I have over 50 in every category but I believe its is the percentile which is the last category. In the middle category I received a 71% in verbal; 55% in math; and 60% in science. If you want to speak to Ms. Jackson her number is 973-877-1868

On one of my classmates score sheets from last year they broke the percentiles down according to those entering associate degree programs, and 4 year degree programs. This year I guess they lumped it all together in one group (Relative Performance). When I spoke to the lady at Essex on Friday who was sitting across from the computer lab where testing was being held she said it goes by the middle category but idk if she knew what she was talking about. If it goes by the last category I missed it by 4 in the math section. In the Relative Performance category I received a 77 in Verbal, Math a 46, and Science a 68 with a composite of 116.

Thanks!!!...So Essex will be going by the last column? the Relative Performance? When I spoke to the lady from NLN she said its not broken down into the Associate degree percentile like it was in previous years, and I know Essex use to go by the Associate degree percentiles.

How do we interpret the score for the Entrance exam? I asked my friend but she said that her print out is different from last years print out!!

Ok well thanks for the advice and words of encouragement. I'm ready to take this test tomorrow, and get this anxiety out of my system lol...

Thank you!!....I actually purchased two study guides...lol...I highlighted the first one so much while I was studying that about 4 weeks ago I went to the Essex Bookstore and purchased a second one. I'm actually going over it again right now while I'm at work. The only part(s) I'm worried about are the Science and Math, I know the Science has some physics such as Ohms, and circuits hopefully I have that down pact. With the math I just have to work on my speed and accuracy I think too much into the problems sometimes....ahhhh...lol

I'm taking the test this Friday (10.21.11) at Essex....I'm extremely nervous and anxious...I've been study for this test for a while now, and I can't wait to get it over with. God willing I'll do really well and get into the program. Idk anyone else this semester who is taking it. If you have any tips for me before Friday pleassssssse let me know!! I'll definitely appreciate it

Did anyone take the NLN test yet, I took the exam friday the 17th. Just trying to get a feel on how everyone did, I believe they only have 80 opeinings, maybe less for the evening class starting in January
