  1. @Eleven Yes, I can answer some questions! You can post them here and I will do the best I can to answer them. Or if you prefer, you can leave your email address and I will email you.
  2. @CamiRN2018 Thank you so much for the response! I started off as an LVN too! LVN-ADN-BSN. I took the long route, lol. I have worked at a pediatric clinic > 5 years. However, that is all the nursing experience I have. Too bad on not receiving an offer, their loss! I hope you find what your looking for if you haven't already! Good luck and thanks again!!!
  3. @kmusgrove Thank you so much for the response! It seems as though you and @CamiRN2018 had similar experiences . Both of you mentioned that the interviewers were welcoming. I plan on practicing possible interview questions as well, but also know there is no way to be able to practice every question that may be asked. I tend to ramble or get nervous and go completely blank when asked questions I am not prepared for. Yes, I will be applying the next time applications open. I applied in September, but did not receive an in person interview. BTW, congratulations on your OR position! I am sure you will do great!!!
  4. @kmusgrove @CamiRN2018 Just curious, how did y'alls OR interviews go? If you don't mind, I have a few questions. What types of questions did they ask? How many people were on the interview panel? How long did it (the interview) last? When did you provide references? When did you receive notification of a job offer or otherwise? Do you have nursing experience? I understand if you don't feel comfortable answering any or all of the questions. Any information you are willing to provide will be helpful when I apply again. ?
  5. Does anyone who has applied and had an interview have nursing experience? I have nursing experience, but have only worked in the clinic setting. It is my understanding that Baylor's residencies are for new grads and experienced nurses looking to change specialties. Just wondering if you or anyone you know with experience has been hired for a residency and what the circumstances were?
  6. @EKB10796 I applied for the same places, but haven't heard back.
  7. @NurseBisi@lex06 What OR locations are y'all interviewing for? I applied for Ft. Worth, Grapevine, and Carrollton, but have not heard back thus far.
  8. Hello everyone!!! I just completed UTA's RN-BSN on-campus program. I am starting this thread to answer any questions you may have regarding the program. I know I had a difficult time finding information about the program when I was deciding whether or not to enroll. I highly recommend the program to anyone that is considering it!!! Feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to answer them. :)
  9. I am convinced the PVT trick works!!!! I was 100% sure I failed untill I tried the trick. It gave me a glimmer of hope!!! I got the good pop up and I found out today I passed!!! I had 3 classmates do the same and it worked for them too!!!
  10. "checked for anyone who passed even after going to CC payment ..." Does that mean that you checked for your friends and it went to the cc page for them as well? Or did they get the pop up? Who knows how accurate this trick is so try not to stress out too much! At least you are an LVN, that is a big accomplishment in itself! I took my PN exam today. I am soooooo anxious to get my results. I tried the trick several times already. BTW I am sure you did fine. If not at least you can try again (at least that is what I keep telling myself).
