  1. I also had my interview yesterday...mine was also a casual interview...
  2. Saying that you are not proud to be a Filipino nurse is too much...you don't need to do this so the whole nursing wolrd will know. This is unfair for those Filipino nurses who are trying to gain experience in hospitals without any pay.
  3. I would like to know, if anyone of you had undergone training in QMMC. What is your area there? And for how many months? :)
  4. Hi balegarcia...I had worked with CONVERGYS for four months...that was right after I took NLE June 2009..I was really bored then and I want to do something while waiting for the results of NLE. Luckily I was able to pass my initial and final interview and was given a job offer. I grabbed it. And luckily I also passed the board exam. While working there, I still want to pursue my nursing career...it was the thing (nursing) that I've worked hard for...so I resigned in CVG. That was a tough decision for me, because I've already experienced how it is to have a good pay from a good company J But, I'm still hopeful that I will be able to carry out my profession. And being a trainee for 5 months in a tertiary hospital still gives me hope that one day I will be a staff nurse (wishful thinking hehehe)
  5. i am so happy...the training officer and the assistant chief nurse recognized me as one of their former PNTP in Pedia Ward...they told me that I no longer need to take the exam...and they assigned me in a special area...in PICU starting October 4...yahoo! the long wait is over... :)
  6. Roosevelt college system-cainta batch 2009 :)
  7. me too...september 21,2010 8am...waaah sooooo many hehehe
  8. I only had 2 months of training in QMMC Pediadtric Ward. I don't want to work as a volunteer nurse anymore... I want A REAL NURSE JOB... Because volunteer work here in the Philippines is pure exploitation for the Registered Nurses... Paying for training fees?? That sucks right???! I'm wondering if our government knows anything about this kind of exploitation.... I hate backer system... Why can't they accept nurses as staff nurses... Why are they freeze hiring... When that fact shows that every hospital here is understaffed....
  9. we are bacthmates..im from pedia ward... :)
  10. Hi StunnerRN were you able to pass the qualifying exam??
  11. hi felicitypaul...when did you take the exam for QMMC??
  12. @tron22 I went there last week and they told me that there are a lot of PNTPs in special areas and as along as they want to continue their duty there, they will not be replaced by those who haved given their letters of intent...oh well
