    I have my CCW but only so that I can keep a legal gun at my bedside and in my car as I do travel nursing. I might carry when hiking, if it is a legal area for carry.

    If you change your mind some day, just know that it is normal to be apprehensive. I have worked in acute psych for 19 years and still feel nervous before work when I know that we have assaultive patients on the unit. Fight or flight is just human nature, and helps to keep us safe and alert. Good luck with your job hunt.
