The nurse should most definitely lose her license to practice but not be locked away to lose her life in a prison system. It's bad enough that she has to deal with the consequences of her mistake for the rest of her life, knowing that she killed someone based on her negligence as a health care provider.

Hello, I used Kaplan QBank of over 1,000 questions and Lacharity's Prioritization and Delegation book. I have many NCLEX review books but promised myself I would only stick to two resources because the first time I took it I studied from Saunders, Kaplan, Mosby's, Lipincott, and Helen Feur and became extremely confused. My brain was all over the place so I couldn't focus. If you don't have the funds to purchase the material, you can always go to Barnes and Noble or Borders and sit and study the material. I took NCLEX-RN on Monday at 12:30pm and I checked BON and my unofficial results were up around 12 noon Tuesday. Good luck, I'm praying for you

I'm so sorry! Just try and be patient. I know that it is much easier said than done-trust me, I WAS THERE! I cried all day yesterday afternoon when I finished my exam and to top it off I had to go to work today and face all of the nurses I work with and care for patients as their assistant, so I couldn't help but to stress if I passed or not. I finally couldn't take it and check my BON and sure enough my 'unofficial' results were up. My officials will be posted tomorrow by Pearsonvue. Kepp your faith and prayers. I will be praying for you as well.

Although it was very, very difficult, I told myself that this time around I was going to only stick to two study resources instead of overloading my mind with a bunch of different sources. I'm unsure if you have access to kaplan Q-bank, but if you do I would strongly suggest you complete it. If not, then there is also this free website: http://www.exammaster2.com/wdsentry/utmbrn.htm . the questions are very similiar to the NCLEX. Don't waste your money purchasing a bunch of different material. Do as many questions as you can but pace yourself and make sure you read the rationales even if you get the question correct and take some notes on material you are unsure of and review it. You will do just fine. I will keep you in my prayers. God bless you.

I just checked BON and I PASSED!!! I am super excited! This was the only thing I prayed for for my Birthday coming up in two weeks. God answered! Congrats to you as well my fellow RN! :)

Hello All,I am ecstatic I passed my NCLEX-RN on second attempt! I was too afraid to do the PVT yesterday afternoon after I got home from the testing center so I took a sleeping pill and went to bed early. I woke up today and was super bummed that I had to return to work as a Nursing Assistant to be around nurses and patients without knowing whether or not I passed. I couldn't help but worry so I was so sad until I could no longer take it I checked the BON and sure enough it said PASS next to my candidate number!!! :) I feel as though a HUGE weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Let me tell you people, PRAYER WORKS! I was sooo sad and upset when the computer shut off at 75 that I hurried through the survery without even reading it just so I could rush out of there before the tears started running down my face. I cried the entire two hours home. However, I did stay positive and calm and also prayed throughout the ENTIRE exam for God to guide me and He listened. I would like to give a special thanks to everyone on this website that has been super supportive throughout this entire process for me. This website is extremely therapeutic and let's me know that I am NOT and was NOT the only person going through this experience. God Bless everyone ♥

I only got 75 questions today as well and I'm a nervous wreck!!!! I couldn't stop crying. I prayed for the computer to go past 75 but I cut right off and I rushed through the survey so I could rush to my car before the tears started running down. Most ppl wish for only 75 but the first time I took I got only 75 and failed. So trust me I am feeling super bummed. But I've been praying all day for a miracle that I passed this time around. WOW, I got only 75 ques today as well!!!! What a coincidence! I cried alllllll the way home. First time I got 75 I failed so I was a wreck earlier today. I prayed for you so I hope that you did very well. I haven't stopped praying and I won't. I pray that we have both passed. I felt my exam was super hard. I only had one math, about 7-8 SATA, 3 peds, 7-8 meds, no OB, and a lot of "what to do first" and few delegation questions. I pray that we passed because I'm a nervous wreck. I didn't try PVT because when I got home internet was down. I think its a sign from God that I need to be patient. Good luck to you and God bless you my friend.

@ Jorla9903, You will do just fine! I have faith in you that you will pass. Just go in there with a calm and positive outlook, breathe, and don't allow your nerves to get the best of you.
