Great advise Kittah!!! I definitely agree. I attained USF and waited to get into the nursing program but feels like its a waste of time. In the meantime, I got my LPN and now I'm in a LPN to RN bridge program at Galen. Other friends I know who are waiting to get in the USF Nursing program are still waiting till this day. I would advise to get want you can for now. Maximize on the opportunity and keep your options open. No sense in wasting time on a single school acceptance when you can take another route and obtain the same goal. Good Luck! :)

Hi, I just got accepted to Galen for their LPN to RN bridge program. I feel very excited and satisfied with my decision. Galen seems like a great school and you will graduate having real skills. I have heard nothing but great things about the nurse the graduate from Galen. Though the cost is high and the grading scale is a bit difficult then most programs, I'm sure it is only to help you become a better nurse. Reading the post has encouraged and motivated me even further. How are you guys doing in the program now? I start my classes next week! So excited!!!

It really sucks to see what the world is coming too! I definitely agree that there should be more protection for nurses and really any healthcare personel. Its very disagreeing when seeing things like this because it seems like the people who are helping and providing the care are the ones who get hurt. That sucks!

I think you should definitely spoken to an intstructor regarding how you feel and especially after the comment that was made. He must have a very wild imagnation if he think you run around the room nude. You don't want these gesture to escalate in anyway without someone being informed. Voice how you feel so that someone is aware of how you feel because you may not be the only person who feels this way. They may be able to pull him to the side and speak to him also. Be confident in knowing that how you feel is not right and someone needs to know about it.
