  1. Hi guys, i'll be starting at hondros in the fall, and i read what "beauty" wrote, and honestly maybe thats just her experience. I've been checking this website daily for weeks now trying to figure out if hondros is right from me, but from the way it sounds, they were not as organized before as they are now. Bottom line is, they are only getting better. I dont know how it is in the cinncinati campus, but i'll b going to the columbus campus. Either way, i'm just saying, hondros is doing well for itself. Teachers may have been terrible before but i know they're bringing in new faculty members cuz they are trying to get their nlnac, for which they need to meet certain requirements. So if anything they're getting better, slowly..but surely. Anyway, i just wanted to say was that "beauty" probably had bad experiences with her teachers. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but dont bash on the school. Either way it was an opinionated blog. Hope u have better luck in the future "beauty". :)
  2. I have a question, and its been bothering me, if someone can please help me out with this. If i get my adn from a school that is a for profit school, currently in candidacy for nlnac.. And it has articulation agreements with a school that i can go and get my bsn after, WHICH is both NLNAC and CCNE accredited. Would it be okay if i were to apply for my msn after? Question is, would my adn matter if my bsn is accredited? and to anyone who is a crna, or someone that can answer this question. If i wanted to apply to a crna program, are there any that just look at where u got ur bsn from, if its accredited or not? would the adn really play a huge factor in all of this? HELP!
  3. I thought that the only thing that mattered was the accredited bsn degree? to get you into the school?
  4. Chamberlain is actually both Nlnac and ccne accredited it says so on the website. I'll b going to hondros for my adn (nationally accredited working on getting nlnac) and then going to get my bsn at chamberlain (nlnac and ccne accredited). What do you think?
  5. There are a few places im currently looking at. There is a place right next to hondros actually, and its called residence at riverpointe. That looks pretty decent actually. I'm still looking around right now.
  6. I'll be attending the westerville campus in columbus but im actually moving there from michigan.
  7. is there anyone applying for crna program after their bsn from chamberlain?
  8. Okay, let me re word this, chamberlain has articulation agreements with hondros college school of nursing, and hondros is actually working on getting its accreditation from nlnac. currently they are nationally accredited. Chamberlain accepts their credits and chamberlain is a ccne and nlnac accredited school. So if i get my bsn from there, would i have any trouble applying to crna schools?
  9. Good luck to you flawlessT and mrs. seal. Dont worry about the math. Just know ur ratios, and the metric system. Memorize the metric system and when u go there, first thing u shud do when u start the test is write it all down on a piece of paper given to u. Thats how i did it anyway. Besides that it should be simple. I'll see you in october!! Yeah, and i really hope they get the nlnac accreditation, it'll open alot of doors for alll of us. As for now, i hear chamberlain and indiana wesleyan are the only options to transfer our adn credits if we want to pursue a bsn.
  10. Do you guys know about the school accreditation?
  11. Thank you so much for ur reply, you wudnt know by any chance the gpa he had? Also, is he on this website so i could PM him about the school? or could you ask him/her if it was tough getting their bsn through chamberlain and applying for crna schools? or did he have any problems of any sort applying? I really want to go to chamberlain but i just want to see if thts the best choice for me.
  12. Hello, has anything changed from 2009 to now about the way hondros operates? and its accreditation and transfer credits? to go on for ur rn-bsn?
  13. anyone hear about chamberlain?
  14. is it rn(adn or diploma) to msn anesthesia? is that what it is?
  15. anyone get their bsn from chamberlain or indiana wesleyan and apply to crna program?
  16. has anyone gotten into any msn programs after chamberlains rn to bsn? if so what fields if u dont mind me asking? would applying to a crna program b okay?
  17. hello everyone, are there any crna's here that got their bsn from chamberlain or indiana wesleyan? i wanted to get mine thru one of those schools and wanted to ask you guys if those schools are good enough? they both are ccne and nlnac accredited, and is that the only thing tht matters?
  18. hey patel, do you know anyone who has continued on to do their bsn at either chamberlain or indiana wesleyan? and are the schools good enough to apply to a crna school?
  19. thanks lunah, will definitely do!! sorry for the trouble!
  20. what about indiana wesleyan?
  21. i have to go the adn route attending hondros, and then i'll probably transfer either to chamberlain or indiana wesleyan. what do you guys think about those schools? is that okay for crna school? as long as they are accredited? and hondros is currently nlnac candidate.
  22. lunah u seem to knwo what ur talking about since u just graduated from chamberlain. Congratulations. If i go with chamberlain, as long as its accredited, with good grades and some critical care experience, in ur opinion..i should be good for crna school right? im obsessed do you know anyone that has done it?
  23. how about if i did my lpn to rn at chamberlain and did my bsn else where? for example university of cinncinati? would it matter if i got my lpn from a regionally accredited university?
  24. does anyone know if hondros adn would be able to get me accepted into the rn to bsn program at uc?
