  1. Ok I was just concerned about getting help with the science part. Yup. In FL!
  2. I'm thinking about purchasing McGraw-Hills 5 TEAS Practice Tests to practice for the TEAS V. I took it today and I did awful on the science. I was not prepared for it, which is kind of embarrassing. I don't want to spend $60.99 on the ATI one. Is the McGraw-Hills 5 TEAS Practice Tests any good for the science section?
  3. I applied for the January LPN to RN and I haven't gotten anything in my SPC email yet. Is anyone else who applied to LPN to RN still waiting? I applied 8/31 which I guess is a little late and I am currently enrolled in stats and micro. Maybe I am just getting impatient because I just read that a lot of you received your emails already!
  4. My watch covers mine up! But all the boys in my class have to wear long sleeves to cover theirs up. And we not allowed to have more than one pair of stud earings in and no face piercings.
  5. I would love if you guys kept us updated as you went through the program. I am completely on the fence about what I should do. I am done with my LPN program in July and start my last Pre-req in August. I am going to try to get into a bridge program for either next may or next august, but if I can get into the BSN program and just knock it out like that, I want to do that. Was anyone else on the fence about what to do as far as that?
  6. I am just about finished with my LPN program. TCN was at the hospital I was doing clinicals at, and they gave me a bunch of paperwork. I then did some research and found out it was a lot cheaper to just deal with ISU directly.
  7. I had to pay over $100 for my lab kit. It included things we needed to practice putting on PPE, doing wound care, inserting a catheter, and a few other things here and there. It's for us to practice with. When we do our skills for our instructors to evaluate they provide us with everything we need. And yes, we did have to purchase our course manuals. Good luck!!
  8. I just got accepted to start the LPN program in August. I live in Florida and I was just wondering about the IV certification. Is there a waiting period between becoming an LPN and getting certified? Do you have to wait before you can get certified? Also, as a CNA I got EKG certified and I got a very small pay raise. As an LPN would I get a pay raise if I got re-certified? Thank you!!!!
