Tracey is it possible that the Physician could have already explained to the PT in advance what to expect ,because normally with procedure like that the Pt is given ,pt information on what is going to occurr during the procedure and also the possible side affects . Nina56

I have had several classes in medical terminology and it is definetly a neccesary course, I have found that flash cards of the various prefixes and suffixes can be very useful in learning medical terms. I enjoyed the course.

Well it is great that you did not allow the lack of support hinder you and you are presently almost finished with nursing school , that is determination best of wishes in your career.

Ginmarad sat your husband down and explain to him how critical it is that you study, than asked him if the two of you ,and include your teenager as well can together work out a good study schedule for you that will work for you and all in your family. Also reinterate to your husband the cost of your education and how this investment will benefit the whole family one day . Best of wishes in your schooling

Annie it seems like from what I have been reading on this thread ,that it depend on which region of the country you live in on how easy it is to obtain eployment, Florida appears to have a nurse shortage
