  1. I'm currently not a nurse yet but I have friends who are, and the poop stories are those that stick with you forever (in a good way). I honestly can't wait for the poo, I'd perfer it to blood or other bodily fluids...
  2. My best friend always tells me " when your a nurse, everybody better tell you you look like a million bucks because guess who's taking care of them.." The most important thing to do I think, is to do a stress relieving exercise like tai-chi or yoga that way you are keeping your body in awesome shape and you are keeping your mental health in check too...
  3. That's Amazing!!! Congrats to her! you must be so proud!!!
  4. Hello! I'm a pre-nursing student and I am not a science or maths person. Of course this didn't stop me when I entered an ER about two years ago and realized that this was my calling. So, I was just wondering, how much chemistry and math do nurses use on a daily basis? Is it ok to carry a calculator on the job? I did take chemistry and bio in school, (even though I retook chem in grade 12 because my grade was a 50..) So, should I take a few classes in like Pharmaceuticals before I apply for Nursing School?
  5. Although, Nunavut is DESPERATE for nurses and wouldn't working up there give a new grad some experience?
