VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
so far, i have many friends who successfully endorsed to vermont, myself included, who did not have a CGFNS certificate... in the TOR provided by our school to the CGFNS credentials verification service, i think it is indicated there that the medium of instruction for the degree is in english... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
yes you need proof of language proficiency to register with vermont... they just need a certified true copy of your HS diploma (certified by your HS registrar)... they do not need your HS TOR... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
if you are talking about your vermont license then no... they have what they call a "renewal period" every two years... the option of renewing is offered only during the renewal period, i believe... i hope this helps...

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
this means that all NCLEX passers through the state of california who received their pass letters informing them that they must submit their SSN within three years from the date the letter (referred to as 'pass letter') was generated is no longer extended as was the practice prior to april 10, 2010... the BRN of california will issue the USRN license only when the candidate has submitted a valid SSN... due to the retrogression, obtaining a visa is taking longer than usual, that is, longer than the three-year expiration set in the letter... those affected by the retrogression used to write the BRN prior to the expiration of their pass letter to have theirs extended... the BRN then extend it for another year, and another and another... as of april 10 of this year, the BRN of california has issued a statement that they will no longer extend the validity of pass letters, meaning if you do not submit an SSN on or before your pass letter expires, they will deem your application inactive and have your files with them destroyed...

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
hello chinita... unfortunately, many of us misunderstood the every 2 years renewal thing... apparently it means they only have renewal periods set every two years... so it doesn't matter when you received your license, renewals are made on a two-year cycle by all licensed RNs in vermont and the last renewal period was march 2009... therefore the next one will be on march 2011, then 2013 so on and so forth... it's another 95$ on us i suggest if your pass letter from cali will expire way after march 2011 that you start your endorsement at around feb 2011 to save you some money... but these rules change without notice so it still is your prerogative really :) how long did it take for your friend to receive her license from vermont by mail? i was issued a license last aug 9 and i still haven't got my hard copy... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
hello, you can process your VSC without an agency... your VSC is something you need if you want to enter the US as a healthcare professional... the cgfns does not require you to have an agent or a sponsor to have your VSC processed... it has a validity of 5 years and is renewable for another 5 years... i suggest you have it done, but it will be expensive... around 500US$... please be reminded that the retrogression seems to be at its worst for nurses these days... visa issuance for approved applications take 5 to 7 years so goodluck!... but just so your nclex and ielts results won't go to waste (i am assuming you have passed an english exam since you need it to have your VSC processed)... the ielts keep TRFs for only 2 years... they destroy your file after... goodluck! i hope this helps...

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
you can verify the language of your nursing program with your school's registrar... it is, i think, as verified by our school registrar, in english... so i am assuming same goes for the entire philippines... as even our philippine health nursing book is in english... in the form that cgfns asks you to print and submit to your school they ask for the medium of instruction... and i have searched numerous blogs and have confirmed that a cgfns certificate is not necessary to endorse your nclex to VT as many have done so already... goodluck!

Endorsement Application to Vermont
thanks rocketbomber... i guess the VT BRN accepts the candidate report ($10) from CALI BRN that is mailed with the application packet as well since my friend just confirmed to me that this is what she did... requesting the endorsement online would have been so much easier and faster though :) like what you did... it's just more expensive :)) so again, thanks and goodluck!

Endorsement Application to Vermont
hi rocket bomber, have you done this before? because i e-mailed the VT BRN and they said that i should submit my candidate report (the one that costs $10) TOGETHER with my application... and i wrote cali BRN as well and they said i need to request this and the fee is $10 and they will send it to ME... because i initially wanted to request the online verification as well (the one that costs $60) but the application packet of VT specifically instructs that the CANDIDATE REPORT WITH PHOTO must be ATTACHED with the application that will be submitted to VT... so i'm just asking if you have done this? because i we want to get this right... thanks!

Endorsement Application to Vermont
louieb, mail your letter to this address: California BRN PO Box 944210 Sacramento, CA 94244-2100 they will send your requested copy to the address they have on file with your name... the full course is $50 more expensive than the health care report but the full course is generally accepted by other states so if you want to endorse to another state in the future, you just need to request cgfns to send them your CES report (since the full course comes with two copies)... the health care report is specific to VT... meaning when you want to get licensed to another state that requires a CES report, you will have to purchase an entirely different CES report... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
louise peter, silverdragon is right, i think it's an automated thing they sent out, though i did not get any email from them aside from the confirmation of my purchase of the said CES... if everything is in order and all your necessary documents for your CES is with the cgfns already, then you should see on your online account a "Certificate or Report Issued" at the end, much like the one on your VSC... i am still in the process of having my license endorsed to VT... i just mailed my letter of request for a copy of my candidate report from CA BRN... but i have everything else covered, that's the only document i need to submit my application to VT... goodluck to us all!!! btw, i heard that the license is to be renewed every 2 years cris25...

Endorsement Application to Vermont
read the instructions with the application to vermont... the CES report is requested through the cgfns... it usually takes a month or two to complete, depending on the arrival of your documents to the cgfns office... YOU request the candidate report from cali BRN (it doesn't matter if you type or handwrite it... and YOU send it to VT together with your application... i got confused with the instructions you quoted above in the beginning as well about where to address the candidate report... look up other discussions about this so you wont get confused... you will get all the instructions you need in the application packet link from vermont that silverdragon and i sent you... it says there that you must INCLUDE in your application the candidate report from the state where you passed your nclex from so it means you are not to ask the cali brn to send it to them separately... visit other discussions, many have already done this and have discussed them clearly in other blogs... goodluck!

Endorsement Application to Vermont
louieb, click on the link below or copy/paste it on your browser... Nursing | International Nurses - Vermont Secretary of State - Office of Professional Regulation on this page, choose: International Nurse NCLEX Pass Endorsement Application this is the application you need to download, fill out completely and submit... the candidate report IS SUBMITTED TOGETHER WITH YOUR APPLICATION... so you must request this from CA BRN (assuming that's where you applied to sit for your nclex)... you must do this in writing and you should put a $10 demand draft together with your request... when you receive your candidate report with photo from CA BRN, you send this TOGETHER WITH your application to VT and all their requirements... have you got a visascreen cert?... if you do not, then applying for a CES report (also a requirement of VT) at CGFNS might take a month or two... you are no longer required by VT to submit your credentials since your CES report will contain this... all you really need to do is fill out the application form for International Nurse NCLEX Pass Endorsement Application, apply for CES report and request for your candidate report with photo from CA BRN... the process of endorsement has been discussed in detail in other topics... try the one i started with "visascreen vs. credentials evaluation system" and the "help on what to do with nclex with no SSN" or something to that effect... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
hello angel... i am still in the process of having my nclex endorsed to vermont as well to obtain a license... now is the best time to have it processed while you have ample time... mine will expire on feb of next year... in the request letter, include your complete name, DATE and TIME you took your NCLEX and the place where you sat for your NCLEX... i also included the file number of my nclex pass letter (the one they sent me informing me that i passed the nclex)... and yes, the CES report is faster to process because most of the documents they require are the same as with the VSC... but you CANNOT substitute your VSC for the CES report... so you have to order a CES report from cgfns and pay another fee... goodluck and i am glad to be of help!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
the VT BRN requires either the full education OR the VERMONT SPECIFIC Healthcare Profession & science report... so you can opt for either one... the healthcare profession report is cheaper by $50 but is specific to VT only... the full education report is accepted by most states so when the time comes that you will need your license to be endorsed to a different state AGAIN, you just need to inform cgfns to forward your results to that licensing body since the full education report comes with two copies (the 1st copy they will be sending to VT already)... the healthcare profession report is specific to VT only... but should you opt for the latter, it's alright... go to the VT BRN site and download the form for endorsement of nclex passers for complete guidance... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
Louis Peter "can you please teach me the steps in applying vermont-specific ces report? Thank you so much." hi louis peter... just go to cgfns website, then since you already have a visascreen, you must already have an account... assuming you applied online... if you applied through an application packet, create an account online, it is easier... then click purchase product and choose CES report... i suggest you get the Full Education Course-by-Course... $385 though it's more expensive... when you get your license endorsed to another state in the future, you don't have to pay for another CES report (the fee includes two copies of reports that you may request to be forwarded)... in your application, you will be asked to which office you would like to forward your result... you just need to submit a certified true copy of your HS diploma (certified by your HS registrar) since, in my case, that's the only document i need to submit... everything else has been processed in my VisaScreen application... it was waived in my VS application... and don't forget to request for your candidate report from california BRN... include your name, date, time and place of exam in your request and send a check of $10 with the request letter... angel05_1987 hi to you as well... the license verification is not what the vermont asked for... i have searched the CA BRN website and not found an online request form for a CANDIDATE REPORT with photo from pearsonvue... numerous answers on how to obtain the copy is posted on this blog... so far, the only way to get a copy is to write the CA BRN, request for a copy and send demand draft of $10, wait for the copy of your candidate report, then send it together with all the requirements set by VT... i hope this helps... goodluck!

VisaScreen vs. CES for Vermont International Nurse NCLEX pass endorsement application
thank you rocket bomber... i asked for my CANDIDATE REPORT instead... the one given by california BON for a fee of $10 as that is what's in their requirement... it's the nclex result with picture from pearsonvue... and yes, i have applied for a CES already... they are only awaiting the copy of my HS diploma since i already have a visascreen certificates and all other documents required are already with them... again, thank you and God bless!

NCLEX california - what to do to keep your file active if you dont have SSN yet.
request the verification of registration, the one that costs US$60... then send your demand draft of $60... if i remember correctly, they have instructions on how to make your payments... after your VSC, i suggest you have your results endorsed to vermont... the VSC locks the result of your nclex and ielts together (they should be within two years of each other) and the endorsement of your results to vermont would save you from re-taking the nclex... to have your result endorsed, VT requires you to submit a copy of your candidate report with photo which you will request, through mail (no provision on their website) and will cost you $10 per copy... so i think it's better you make out the demand draft to $70 and attach a letter explaining that it is your payment for the license verification request AND for the candidate report you are requesting... will save you $5 i believe (banks usually charge that much for a demand draft i believe)... i hope this helps... try australia or, like me, canada... you would need to have worked for at least 6 months i think for these two countries to consider you but the US migration laws needs a serious overhaul... if you really want to work there, the best way to go is through a working visa... good luck!

Need Help About CA Pass Letter Urgent
hello again nursedandy... i just have a few more questions... can you post the address where you mailed your letter of request for your candidate cert to? and the payee for the bank draft? thank you very much for all your help... God Bless!
