I just started agency HH and I really dont like it like I thought I would the people that live with the patient can really be nerve racking b/c they have a certain way that they take care of the parent or whom ever and then they may constantly remind you of there way as if you havent been taught Im going back to working in the schools until I finish school I dont like everybody different rules that every one has!!!!! oh my gosh its nothing like I expected I dont know how it is for the nurses but I know they have to go there just like us! Good Luck 2 each is own

I took Ap 1 and 2 and I took a full load and I will never do that again it was tough and alot of study at least 10 hrs more if you wanted an A ours was 100 quest fill in the blank! pop quizes and lab test. I ended up with a C It was nerve racking my advice is try not to be so nervous because this is a new experience. GOOD LUCK if your fairly book smart you can take on more classes
  3. I will automatically be able to work for the same company not as a CNA but I will work as an RN they would love for me to stay with the company Im not hardly comparing a CNA and a RN two totally different roles Ill have my BSN I will be ready to work!!!!!!!!!!!

Any job in the medical field is worth taking b/c you will have the chance to get to know how things are ran in a hospital setting and you can further your education as well as the oppurtunities for advancement! I would definetly take the job and get the hands on experience and move up the ladder when the timming allows GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
  5. Will finally make some money haaaaaa not like nursing will offer but enough to buy little items!
  6. I finally got a job at a agency as a CNA Im really excited about the experience that Im going to gain is it a good choice to continue doing this type of work even when I graduate I wont have the 1 year waiting period that it usually takes for RNs to work for agencys.
  7. Depending on what type of job you obtain while nursing most agency nursing it is not required you tell them when you want to work! As a nurse you will have many options to take what is convient for you!
  8. Im in a junior college were you can obtain your associates first and transfer to a University were I will enter into the BSN program which is the University of Southern Mississippi currently at Miss Gulfcoast Community College Go ........Bulldogs
  9. Yes it is very flexable you can turn down an assignment if you cant make it I enjoy it Im doing the same and it works for me fo far! GOOD LUCK Congrats on becoming a CNA
  10. I'm excited about the challenges ahead in the nursing field. I'm married with 3 beautiful children. I hope to pursue my nursing degree in the year of 2005 GOSH......hopefully I will start the BSN program in 2005-06 whoooooo thats a long time...... much work to be DONE I have 2 more semesters left until my A.S.(A.A) yeah then I'll be at an OPEN university hopefully I wont have to wait that long.... open means anyone that is accepting me..... TIME is PATIENCE
  11. Im taking a CPR class this week end and it is a requirment for our B.S degree program before you can even recieve an application. Safety FIRST I believe.
