  1. Postal nurses are covered by the APWU. I will add a couple of links to the last contract. It's valid until 2017. I was a postal employee for 15 years but not as a nurse. http://www.apwu.org/sites/apwu/files/resource-files/14-057-nurses-tentativecontract-140401-overview.pdf http://www.apwu.org/sites/apwu/files/resource-files/14-057-nurses-tentativecontract-140401-ta.pdf http://www.apwu.org/sites/apwu/files/resource-files/Update%20on%20the%20NPPN%20Business%20Plan.pdf

  3. I went to Brown Mackie. Passed NCLEX first attempt in 75 questions. There are many nurses at the hospital I work in that also went to Brown Mackie. Do your homework as they are not all accredited and they are very expensive. It takes a lot of outside reading because the classes go by so fast.
  4. You all make me jealous. We have class/clinical Monday through Friday. Lecture days are from 8:30 - 4:30 and clinical days are 6:30 - 3:00. We have clinicals Monday, Thursday, and Fridays this rotation.
  5. The trick worked for me too. I took the test on July 1st and got the "good" pop up a few hours later. Quick results today said passed.
  6. My program uses the ATI exams also. We always take them on the computer and have the results immediately. The best way we have found to study for them is using an NCLEX study guide. I had several questions on my ATIs that were the same as the questions in my Saunder's book.
