  1. Hi, I have a couple Interview Questions that I am hoping you all could weigh in on. 1. You are feeding a patient that is completely dependent on you to feed them and you get a page that another patient who is confused/disoriented needs to be taken to the toilet, and your RN pages you that she needs your help two doors down. How would you handle this situation. This would be an acute care hospital. 2. Another C.N.A. complains to you that you always get all the easy assignments. What would you say/do?
  2. Apply everywhere. Around here the hospitals say 6 months preferred. So, go for it, and see what happens.
  3. Thank you. :)
  4. Ok, CNA's tell me how this would be handled. If you are working on the floor and a nurse asks you to put a patient to bed, but you are not assigned to this patient. What would you do?
  5. Don't give up. Be persistent. Like they say the squeaky wheel gets the oil. Robin
  6. I paid $71.00 for mine. Does anyone kow if you can find out what your own background check says.
  7. You can get 6 people up in an hour? Does that include showering, bed baths etc? How often are your residents showered?
  8. at your facilities, how many patients do you have, and how long do you have to get them all ready in the morning.
  9. I'm in Cali and passed my state certs 2 1/2 weeks ago and I am looking for a CNA job now.
  10. Hi, I'm a brand new CNA. My only training has been on clinical. There we only had two patients at a time. I'm kind of nervous about starting a new job and having 8-10 suddenly. My questions to those experienced CNA's are 1. How do you get it all done with 8-10 residents 2. Will the facility always let you shadow or train with someone for a while so you can get the hang of it all?
  11. I'm not really sure, but it sounds like if they want you to shadow, that's a good sign. :)
  12. Did you work underneath nurses here. How long have you been a CNA
  13. Yeah, don't think that's the case. This is a non medical faciltiy. No emt's, no nurses.
  14. What about the other 15%. Did you facility have a policy not to perform CPR and instead just call 911?
