  1. Every aspect of nursing has patient teaching involved, whether it is thought of that way or not. There are many nursing jobs, that only focus on teaching, such as, nurse educators and most community health nurses to name some. That's great that you love teaching so much. You can always become a instructor of First Aid, CPR, ACLS, ENPC, ect. if your current job doesn't fullfill your teaching desires. Good Luck:)
  2. Congrats, I know many nurses that have worked up to their due date. They tire more easy , but do it. Good luck
  3. I too believe in a woman's choice to choose, however couldn't have one myself nor give support to another woman who made this choice. I have been faced with this subject far too many times and have to do what I feel morally is right. So my answer is no. I did however just turn down a job for that reason
  4. I have always had a rectal exam during a gyn assessment and feel it is just "part" of the exam. This physician was probably just being very thorough.
