Online transition programs for LVNs for Texas
Just because ISU says that they are recognized does not make this a fact. ISU is not listed on Texas BON website as an approved school for LVN-BSNs. ISU has a track record of not being truthful with students (just ask the ISU California student) there are several threads about this on site. I would suggest any LVN looking into the program contact the BON first.

Lamar State LVN to RN Program
My husband just finished Lamar. They are having issues with NCLEX scores so they may not be taking any new students. Lamar has a lot of problems. I have had to listen to my husband complain about this program for the past 15 months. They are changing the format and extending many of the classes. Therefore, you won't finish in 15 months anymore. If you can I would suggest looking for another program. Regarding, Allegeny College are they an approved BON school? I googled the name and nothing comes up.

Kindred Hospital hires LVNs, which is a LTAC hospital. Typically you need one of experience for them.

100% online RN-BSN programs
Most RN-BSN programs are paper/assignment driven. No tests.
- Anyone know if CSU Stanislaus or Sacramento State have an Online RN-BSN Program

UTA Online BSN Program Odds of Acceptance
OP this is off topic, but just in case things don't work out with UTA. Texas Tech has an accelerated 2nd BSN program, too.

Best online RN to BSN program....CHEAP?
No you don't have to be in TX for Lamar, but there are some exceptions. The following is from their website. Lamar University has approval or has confirmed that Lamar University has been granted an exemption to offer online degree programs with the exception of the following states: Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. http://dept.lamar.edu/nursing/rntobsn.html

Online RN-To-BSN accreditation
Here's a thread on NLNAC accreditation that may give you some insight. I think NLNAC is fine, I don't think you need regional accreditation.

Does anyone know of any good online LPN to RN progams for Indiana?
I don't know if it requires math but Indiana State University has an LPN to BSN program.

Online transition programs for LVNs for Texas
If ISU is an approved program, then why isn't listed on the BON under approved programs?

RN to BSN w/o Microbiology or Chemistry?
I've never seen a RN-BSN program that didn't require Micro. In Texas there are several schools that don't require chemistry. You might want to try UT Arlington. I think they require Micro but they offer it online.

I'm in need of a online English Comp 2 course. Does anyone have recommendations?
I would suggest your local community colleges (cc). Most cc offer a lot of online General Ed classes like English 2.

Lamar State College LVN to RN
There are 4 tests. Start looking for a RN with a BSN. You will need one for the final assignment, an Integrated Physical Assessment. You must have an RN BSN for this assignment. The RN BSN signs off on the assessment and emails the professor. There are weekly assignments. This class requires a scanner.

i need suggestions to make a better life
What part of the state do you live?? Psych 2301 is intro to psych almost every community college offers this course online. That shouldn't be a hard class to find. Where/how have you searched for these online classes. Since you are moving to Dallas you might just want to stick with Dallas community colleges. Here's their website. DCCCD Home Under the schedules section there is eCampus. This is all of their online classes. I just did a quick search for biology classes and it's 24 pages. Chances are they offer a lot of the classes you need. https://blackboard2.dcccd.edu/webapps/portal/frameset.jsp?tab_tab_group_id=_2_1 Good luck.

Help i need with job in houston
You may not be able to get a job in a hospital so be open to other places, such as assisted living and home health. You can go to craigslist and search for jobs. You can google assisted living in houston or sugarland. Assisted living can be kinda old school. Meaning you have to go up there and fill out an application. But call and find out if they are accepting applications. Try to speak to the DON or ADON. My husband started off at an assisted living facility, a year later he got a job at Kindred. Most employers want you to have 6 months to a year experience, so take what you can get. Even if it is PRN take it, it might turn into full time work. Again you just need to get experience at this time. Good luck.

Lamar state college port Arthur
My husband is currently in the program. You can order you books from anywhere. I would suggest shopping around for the books. You view the books that you need for each class at the bookstore Lamar State College - Port Arthur Official Bookstore | Textbooks, Rentals, College Apparel . You will need the course number to look up the classes. All of the tests are online. Some are proctored. The proctored exams are through a company called proctoru Online Proctoring - ProctorU : Real People. Real Proctoring. . The cost is $25 per proctored tests.

Finish Strong or Experience?
I would get the experience. You can get a PRN job and decide how many days, if any, you work. You are in control of your schedule. Good luck.

Visited WCU today, need advice between commitment
Yes, SMC, El Camino and West LA are going to be extremely difficult to get your pre-reqs done. You really need to look at other schools there are so many in Southern Cal. If you really want to do this, you may have to travel. Here's a listing of schools in the states. College Alphabetic Listing

Lpn to bsn advice please!
They didn't tell you about clinicals when you called them? I'm going to take a stab and say they probably aren't approved by the CA BON for an LVN to BSN option which is probably why you can't sit for the NCLEX. Since Indiana State no longer offers their program in CA, I don't think there are any LVN to BSN options. Or only choices may be 1) move to a state that accepts Indiana State or 2) go RN to BSN route.
