  1. WOOP WOOP. I remember this nightmare. Phew. Praying for all the current NCLEX takers to pass the test first time. If you don't do not give up. Keep trying and eventually you'll pass it. Do study though ...don't try to take it twice without studying at all like I did the first 2 rounds---I study the third time and I passed. Thank God! :-) I've been working in ED - ER ever since and I love it!
  2. Awww, so sorry. CA seems to be really bad with getting results to ppl fast. Hang in there. My past 48 hours have been a nightmare ...Best of luck. You will pass:yeah:

  5. Right now I can't sleep I am so nervous. Feel like :barf01::smackingf:uhoh21: :icon_roll:banghead: :sstrs::sstrs::sstrs::dzed::grn:Yep that says it all :lol2::lol2:
  6. Just took mine this AM too. Third time. Definetely divine intervention if I passed . I prayed a lot. :bowingpur. Right now I am as anxious as you are. Did the trick and it did not let me register. We'll see on Thursday. Right now I can't sleep I am so nervous. Feel like :barf01::rotfl::smackingf:uhoh21::icon_roll:banghead::throcomp::sstrs::sstrs::sstrs::dzed::grn:Yep that says it all
  7. I just took mine this AM. All you can do for now is get a good night sleep. Eat a healthy protein breakfast. Bring snacks and drinks with you in case you are there for the entire test. Take a small break every 1 hour. Quick drink and a snack, bathroom and do some jumping jack in the bathroom for extra oxygen to the brain. Try to stay calm. Take your time with the questions, do not hurry. Take a deep breath once in a while. If you start to get really anxious during the test, take a small break, say a prayer or just take deep breaths. My God be with you tomorrow, keep you calm, guide you and help you in passing this test. My prayers are with you. God Bless you. YOU CAN DO THIS !
  8. Also know your lab values, most I've seen used in test questions were H&H, Platelets, RBC, ESR, K, Mg, NA, BUN, Cr. I can not discuss the content of the test but is common knowledge that you must memorize lab values. That's about the only thing I memorized, the rest is understanding your nursing content and how to apply it. Hurst was really good at teaching that.
  9. Michael I studied mostly all of the Hurst online review. I did some Saunders questions and also read Kaplan 08-09 Strategies book. I did not do as many questions as I should since I wanted to understand my core content, but we'll see on Thursday if that affected me. I got lots of SATA this time. Infection control, 5 pharm questions, 6 or 7 mental health, a few therapeutic communication and a lot of priorities type of questions. Study Med Surg the most. I prayed a lot this time, cause no matter what you study if you are anxious you can not concentrate and you start picking answers that "sound good". We'll see Thursday.
  10. THANK YOU and I prayed for you and everyone that took the test today. .
  11. So I tookit today. Just got done with it and of course I feel as anxious as ever. Happy is done. I prayed a lot this time and I crammed and studied like never before this time. First time I got all 265 questions, second time 236 questions and today 75 questions...so I either bombed big time or passed with flying colors. I choose to trust God that I pass so I need to calm down. Man, I have a huge headache. I'll update you guys of the results on Thursday. I tried to register for the test again on PVC and it said "This user has an open registration for this exam. A new registration can not be scheduled at this time". It does not mean anything to me since I see that as only telling me I don't have the results yet. SO no clue if that's how the pearson trick works. Deep breathing. Thank you all for the prayers and kind words.
  12. I will keep you in my prayer Moses. Still doing last minute reviewing :-) since I will have plenty time to sleep in tomorrow
  13. Thank you guys so much for your support . Failing it the first two times was my fault for not studying as I should. I am plenty prepared now. I truly believe that with prayer and trust in God I can conquer my fears and pass this. I am one of those people that get nervous and anxious really bad at tests (ONLY when I am testing something ...go figure). Well, THANK YOU each and everyone for your support. Very kind people. I will let you know of my results on Thursday. I am so ready for tomorrow. Happy, excited, nervous, anxious. GOD is my strength and with Him anything is possible. Thank you for your prayers again. AVANTE!!! Cu el in frunte voi fi victorios! Amin. My prayers are with the rest that have to take it too! :nuke::rotfl::sofahider:smackingf:yelclap::clpty::nmbrn::anpom::hdvwl::oornt: (all the feelings we go thru with NCLEX :-))...Love those smiley faces) :tku:

  19. Hello future fellow and current nurses I am taking the Nclex exam for the 3rd time :imdbb: . It's so discouraging to fail and then retake, but I can not give up. I am studying now Hurst, Saunders questions and Kaplan strategies :sstrs:. Did any of you do any of these? I am so scared and so nervous . No one knows when I am taking this time the NCLEX. I need some prayer and encourangemnt please on March 30th at 2:00 pm. I need to pass this time. I am trying to take it before April 1 changes. Actually that is the last day I can take the test according to my ATT. I pray and hope that each and everyone on this site that is in my shoes to pass Nclex for once :bowingpur. Thank you guys for your support :tku:
