my question is: (sorry for the long story!), how hard is it to get into an lpn to rn program? will they look at that 2.7 gpa? what if i do really great in my lpn program? how much with that play a part? will they look at only the prerequisites for the lpn to rn, or will they also look at the many other classes that i have taken that have lowered my grade? any insight would be greatly appreciated. i want to be a nurse so bad, and i want to work my way up to at least as bsn, maybe my masters. i don't want to be stuck as a lpn. thanks! i pretty much have the exact same question, the only thing im finding in philly are community colleges that offer advance placement for lpns but that means they still look at my gpa right? any luck op?

how long does this course take? I want to do this or mayb cna while i get my adn but I dont want to waste to much money or time getting certified?

I plan on applying for the 2011 adn progam at gwynedd mercy college in pa. So right now im focusing on finishing high school. But from reading this forum I hear everyone saying how they are taking thier prerequisites well before school starts! I have no idea if I need to take any but I probably do. How are you guys taking these? At the college where you are planing on attending??? Do you have to get accepted into the program before taking them?? Any advice about how to start my prerequisites would really help me.

Hi, I'm hoping to be accepted to the fall 2011 asn program. Right now im still in high school. My school had a trip to tour gywnedd and I'm certain thats where I want to be. I was hoping you guys could tell me what kind of sat scores they are looking for? I'm taking them next week and I'm horrible at math so maybe if you guys could tell me what kind of grades and gpa's they are looking for I could make a goal and figure out if I have to take them again. Also if they want alot of extra ciriculum courses? This would help me soo much! Thanks for any advice.
