  1. hey i have the same question too.. how long should i wait before i call them? would they even tell me if i passed or not on the phone? or should i just wait for the snail mail?
  2. It is false. It is standardized and totally random for everyone taking the test.
  3. just chill the day before the test. eat, have fun, whatever you do to take the stress off. after all, in my experience no matter how many questions you do, around 95% of it wont even appear in the exam. thats why understanding the topics more is better than just taking hundreds of questions. gooooooooooodluck!!!!!
  4. i studied 3 whole months for the nclex. but then again, it was easier this time since i had the knowledge i gained from our local board exam carried over to the nclex review. (we are required to take the local board before taking the nclex) so my advice would be start reading and understanding the topics now. you can do it like one body system a week, and once you understand it, youre gonna realize that it is not that hard. just really understand the rationalizations.
  5. hey joyce, my advice would be to read/understand the topics more and try to understand and i mean really understand the reasons for the rationalizations. if im not sure how many topics there are for the PN exam, but a month may or may not be enough. if you feel you are ready you will know. in my case, a week before the exam, i was so excited to take it that i didnt even study anymore lol i just chillaxed and played games and read a little saunders here and there
  6. in my opinion, it doesnt really matter what review material you use. question is, how was your understanding of all the topics? also could you describe in more detail your study habits?
  7. agree. you should stay faithful to studying daily.. although, i only did prolly 75-100 questions a day when i was reviewing.. i focused more on the lectures being taught to us.
  8. congrats, finally all your hardwork payed off
  9. yep the review center's main branch is in CA i think, but they have 2 branches here in the philippines.. before taking the exam, i had already studied alot for our local nursing board exam, so alot of those things carried over to my nclex review.. i gave myself an additional 3months to prep for the nclex, and i was pretty calm before taking the exam, i knew i was ready since i had really done my part.. havent gotten the results yet though, although i got the good pop up on the pearson vue trick.. either way, just email me at [email protected], and ill do my best to help you out. i know first hand how hard it is, and this is just another human being helping another human being out. :)
  10. hey sayang are you filipino? your username seems like it hehehe
  11. sure just email me and id be glad to help.. its a fairly new review center called Rachell Allen.. they have a branch in california i think, its owned by a fellow filipino..
  12. yes i did and i got the good trick result. i sure hope the trick works for me..
  13. i cant tell you to relax coz im feeling the same way right now. took the test 2 days ago as well.. like i always say, as long as you studied and truly did your part, then you should trust that god wont let you down. the positive PVT i got is the only thing keeping me sane. lol and man, it'll take like 4-5 weeks prolly before the mail gets here in the philippines
  14. thank you.. im just slightly doubtful because i heard this story you know like a friend of a friend story.. anyway that dude got a postive PVT, he celebrated, but then failed.. i dont wanna be that guy.. hehehe
  15. i know its hard man (edit: oh youre a girl hehe). if i could just come over there and share stuff with you haha. im actually considering teaching in a review center since i know how hard it is to review so many topics.. if u want, you can email me at [email protected], and im going to make you an outline of all the important stuff we tackled in the review center.. i have nothing to do right now, pretty much a bum, and i really wanna help you out. :)
