So last Thursday I had an interview for VITAS Hospice Care, they liked me and the interview went well. After the interview they told me that they will call me after they check my references. When I left, I went to another facility (Assisted Living) and applied. I didn't expect anything since I'm a new grad and the facility is big and well-known. The following day the facility called me and asked for a Pre-eliminary interview that very same day. I went and the DON interviewed me for over an hour. After, she offered me the job. I accepted it because the pay was good and it's an Assisted Living, so I assume the job is not that bad compared to working at a LTC or SNF ( no offense to people who work there ). She offered me PM shift full-time. ok so VITAS called me the same day and arranged for Monday (today) to offer me the job. I accepted it too because the pay was very good and the benefits. Since, I'm new she offered me Per diem but if I work night shifts I can get a lot of hours. I accepted her offer. Now, my dilemma is if I can handle working PM shift and then going to my Night shift at Vitas right after. and How can I explain to my DON at the Assisted Living my situation because the orientation might overlap since I start at VITAS next Monday. huhuhu. Advice are kindly appreciated. Thank you guys!

OH wow! good thing I read this. My gosh, it's hard to get into a RN program already and now this. Where can I go now?? I'm a newly grad LVN and now going to look for a job. I'm opting to go to Indiana State University then.

PVT really works! I took my test March 16, 2010 and after 6 weeks and 3 days of waiting I got my results today saying, "I Passed". I was literally shaking and crying for joy. I couldn't believe it because i left the testing center feeling like I failed. Now, I can say PVT is 100% because most of my classmates who took the test before me had the good pop-up and got their results before me.. I knew God is on my side and will never leave me. He believed in me when I didnt believe in myself. I offer this victory to Him! To God Be the Glory! No amount of studying and test question made me pass, it's all about having faith in God and not myself. Yay! I'm from California and waiting was forever! no quick results. So i Had to rely on the pop-up... It's all worth it now!

Thanks Guys!!!! my friend who believe the pearsonvue trick just got her official papers saying she passed! so that means I passed too! yay!

Hi guys! so I just took my test today and all I can say is that it was hard! nothing like the cd questions... at then end I felt like I failed it. but when I did the Pearsonvue trick, I got the pop-up saying : Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time. what that does that mean?? did i pass or what?? i don't want to depend on this trick till I get my official results. but just in case.. i wanna feel assured.

hello once again you guys!!! well i only have one chapter left on the exam cram.. so I DID all test questions on the cd Saunders and Exam cram, plus I read and finish the exam cram book. now I praying that I pass! pls pray for me you guys! Thanks so much for the support and advices!!!!!

Hi guys! thanks for replying! i really appreciate all you guys' advices. Right now, I'm almost done with the Saunder's cd. I only need to do the Pharm section and i'm done. so after that I'm to read the Exam Cram book for two days before my exam. of course I won't do it the day before the exam. cuz I'm thinking I should relax that day. Anyways, what do u guys think?

Hi I'm Joyce, I'm not really new.. i've been a lurker for a while now and decided to join your amazing community here. Anyways, I'm taking my test a week from now. I've been studying for a month straight now. I started reading the NCLEX Exam Cram for PN. I found it very helpful but i'm having difficulty concentrating. So I decided just to do the questions on the cd.. I do about 200-300 questions a day on the exam cram cd by category. I finished the cd yesterday. Also, additional to that I've been doing the Saunders cd as well by content. I haven't read a book since, just for content review when i dont know something. Do you guys think it's enough? what i'm doing right now? Should i reschedule and read the book as well? Pls help me.. Thank you so much!
