  1. Yes,I know that I`m gonna have to go through som stuff until I can actually prove the american system that I`m a true nurse But I think I`ll use those few months the best way if I can gain some work experience working in the ER. Just throw myself to the wolves so that I don`t get scared after that
  2. And congrats,Charmbee! You`re from now on my role-model hahahhaha
  3. Guys...the more you write, the more I freak out lol I`m still so new at this,I haven`t even made the proper research about this exam yet.I don`t know what are the best books for preparation ( I see Kaplan,Silvestri here). I`m not sure about the sequence of steps I need to go through before I actually get to the NCLEX date (Chris616 mentioned a board exam, which I`m sure I`ll need to pass too, since my country joined the EU 3 years ago and we`re still "little aliens" for the rest of the world ) And there`s another HUGE concern...I haven`t even seen the states yet. I`m preparing myself for a whole new world, and I haven`t even stepped a foot on american land yet.Being so thrilled about something like that may seem reckless to most of you...but I`ve been waiting for it my whole life. So if any of you, other foreigners, wanna share some thoughts about that last emotion of mine-go ahead! :)))
  4. I don`t need to rush then.I was thinking of starting to prepare now,but then again-Im a first year, all I know so far is how to make proper corners on the beds Maybe I`ll start with improving my English for now until I gain more skills. So, Charmbee, did you take it already? :)
  5. Hmmm, but I guess Im gonna have to get an assesment for my language skills first... I have time then, thanks a lot )))
  6. Hey all, Im so happy to find a place like this, full of ppl who have experianced the whol NCLEX thing or are about to. I`m absolutelly new at this...Im a first year student in Bulgaria,Eastern Europe (for those who haven`t heard of it) and it`s in plans to pass NCLEX once I graduate after 3-4 years. So this may seem a little early, but better early then late. I would appreciate any advice on how to prepare and how much time I need. My question may seem too general...but be helpful, pls. Im so young and green hahhaha Thaaaaanks in advance to all of you
