From what I've heard, the program gets harder as it goes on. I didn't hear so much about 2nd sem, but for sure 3rd and 4th sem everyone complains about in my school. I'm just finishing off my first semester as well. :) Last final tomorrow!

I'm just finishing up the first term as well. I think we had 1 person who couldn't pass the skills assessment - that's about it so far. Our final marks aren't out yet, but I assume everyone else is going to pass. Though there are a few that are having a hard time with bio.

ill also be starting the nursing program at langara this fall 2010 semester. is it alright if i ask a few more questions? for the skills lab, were you able to practice on simulation dolls? how confident and prepared did you feel going to clinicals for the first time? were the clinical placements fairly organized? do you get to choose which hospital you want to go to for clinicals or were they assigned to you? how much clinical experience did you have (in terms of days per week/hours in total) on sem 1? sem 2? sem 3? also, you mentioned that sem 4 is hard. what was the most difficult aspect of that semester? was it a certain course? okay thats all. i would have just PMed but i didnt know how to D: thanks!
