  1. Where I work, we do our own CRRT. The HD nurse will set up the machine and do all cleaning and trouble shooting though. Our job is to just run the numbers, manage gtts, etc. CRRT are always 1:1, I've never seen anyone one who has one take another pt. You have to take a class to get trained, and usually orient with someone else for a couple shifts before taking one by yourself.
  2. I have the pearl pink and it is a shiny, vibrant pink. My co-worker has the breast cancer pink, and mine is much prettier! People are always trying to swipe it. :)
  3. My hospital (Indiana) is 1:2. The only 1:1 pt's are CRRT and first day open hearts. Open heart are then 1:2 on the second day post-op.
  4. I took the NCLEX-RN yesterday (2/22/10). I kept waiting for the computer to shut off and it just kept going. I had all 265 questions and was devestated. My husband kept trying to cheer me up and telling me not to give up yet. I was just convinced that I failed. I had over 10 SATA, loads of prioritization, and many med questions. I found this thread, but it took me a couple hours to get up the courage to try it. I got the "good" pop up and became a little more hopeful. This morning my name was updated with a license number on the Indiana online licensing website! The "trick" worked for me. Keep hope alive if you have the max number of questions. At least three of my fellow classmates did and we have all passed. :)
