  1. I started the program in January and the same guy went to every campus. His name started with a K. I remember that even people used to come make up test atour campus from other campuses. I am at North by the way :)
  2. I started the program in January and he use to travel back and forth. Like I had it at North on Monday. And he would be I believe at Central on Thursday. But it was the same professor for all three. I don't know if they have changed things since then. Don't worry about pharmacy. You will know exactly what you need to study before the test date. He will let you know. Very funny guy.
  3. The pharm teacher is the same no matter what campus you go to. He goes back and forth :)
  4. Are you just missing the CEU's because if so, you can get them and Ceufast.com I believe is the website and I think it was $30.00 for all of them.
  5. When I first applied the cut off was 12 points and I only had 10. Then, I applied again and people with like 5 points were getting in. So basically, it all depends on how the range of points are in this pool of applicants. Stay positive and focused, if you don't make it this time. Try again! I did and I'm half way through the program and have not repeated a course yet! (which it is very hard to stay on track) Positivity is key! Good luck to everyone :)
  6. I had 10 points, I did take micro before entering the program or you'll be taking it on maybe the only break you have which will be the second portion of the summer. I was very worried at first I stressed every day, but honestly i have 2 kids and a husband to take care of and I have been able to make it. It hasn't been easy and there have been times were I just breakdown, but honestly what in life comes easy? If you truly want it nothing will stand in your way!!
  7. I was at North campus. Honestly, the teacher is GREAT! And you'll appreciate her once you don't have her. Stay focused. Keep yourself organized from day one. It may be a little overwhelming at first, but read, read and more read, and the pp slides she gave were amazing to study off of. Process 1 & 2 were not that difficult it's just getting used to their way of testing. Buy like a test success book, it will help prepare you for that type of test. It is nothing like you have ever taken before.
  8. I don't remember the course ID, but I do know that it is taught at Central. You can call them and they can give you the code. The class was the best investment I EVER made. It gave me a clear understanding before I had to take it at North. The teacher at Central was AMAZING very patient and trust me well worth the money :)
  9. I had 3.34 GPA and I passed all my hesi sections with I believe in the 80's or 90's except for A&P I got a 76%.
  10. Hey guys! I'm a nursing student at Broward College North campus. I started January of 2011. If I can be of any assistance let me know :) I probably have the answer to all your questions! Good luck to all!! I applied twice before I actually got in :)
  11. They allow them at North Campus. I Am finishing up Process 2 now and a few people use them. Also, you don't have to take any books to class. It's up to you but they won't be ask for them.
  12. I started in January and I would say 2 sets.
  13. Hey what campus are you at? I started in Jan. I'm at north and you can record, you are allowed to have a drink and even a snack in class, and the scope from the bookstore was just fine. Though I got myself another brand. North test straight from the objectives and it is a bit intense, but I'm in process 2 just took my first test and passed both that and return demo. Good luck to everyone. Get Organized! No time for disorganization in this program. We also don't have any mandatory lab time. It's really crazy how the campus vary...
  14. The reading due for friday is crazy!!! I read chapter 13 & 33 today and did my objectives will read the skills chapters tomorrow...I am feeling a bit overwhelmed.
  15. I have math on thursdays as well at 1. My goal is to have the objectives all answered and the chapters read along with watching all the animations as well as answering the review questions for this chapter in my fundamentals and success book by the lecture on Monday. That way I will feel a little at ease. I have 10 pages left of reading and then to do the animations..
  16. How is everyone managing their time? I just read the whole vital signs chapter, did the objectives, and did the review question in 3 books..I am exhausted and I haven't even read my skills book yet??
  17. For now I am not going to get it. If we needed later on than I will. I am trying to save as much as I can.
  18. I just did!! I hope everyone is ready..I am getting my modules tomorrow after class and getting glued to the book!
  19. Thanks for the info on the Hesi...I think I am going to wait until we meet on friday and see if I need it. It's a little more than what I wanted to pay.. I also need to get my modules which I figured I get at that time as well....
  20. The only thing I haven't bought on the Hesi books....I hope we don't need them. lol
  21. I did!...I am heading there ready to take notes on Friday :)
  22. Happy New Year to all my fellow nurses to be :)
  23. They told us at orientation to check our email at least once a day. I think that there is a way to forward it to your regular email. I think someone else on here got an email about missing something. :) Good Luck! See everyone very soon!!! :)
  24. Does anyone know exactly what books we would need to take with us to school everyday? I am a little overwhelmed with all of them!
  25. I sent the professor an email about the pants and she told me that "official" answer is Yes the pockets matter. But if the "unofficial" is as long as you don't stuff the with things and make yourself look sloppy that it is not an issue. I bought mine with the pockets because those are the only ones I could find. Everywhere I went they had pockets. I don't know about flare though.
